Oh, my good god! I dunno what is wrong with my ear but I am in such extreme pain that I have been crying since 12am and it is now 5:40am mind you I am a 20yr. old woman and I am very strong usually when it comes to any sorts of pain. My left ear is pulsing inside, popping, reddened, and once in awhile gives me even more excruciating shots of pain but all in all it is a constant severe pain going on my 3rd day today. It feels like it isn't at the eardrum but more in the ear canal and the ear feels kinda full with no hearing. I can only eat liquids at the moment as whatever is happening has spread to the left side of my face making it impossible to close my back teeth together all the way and my outer ear and area just below my ear is extremely sensitive and painful as well and just a little bit swelled, I have tried antibiotic drops, non-antibiotic drops, the heating pad, tried the listerine on cotton ball trick, mineral oil, acetaminophen pain relief pills.

It sounds like a bad ear infection to me. I'd get an appointment with your doctor today or go to the E.R. if that isn't an option. You need to get some pain meds and an antibiotic.

I used to have ear infections all the time as a kid, and I still get them every once in a while now. You can just wait until your eardrum ruptures--then the fluid that you can feel (that full feeling) will drain either down your throat or out your ear (or both). The pain will be gone, but you may be left with a loss of some hearing due to the scarring that will take place.

Could be an ear infection, I got them when i was younger and they are excrutiatingly painful, you need to see a doctor...you could have damaged your eardrum somehow go to your doctor anyway, don't prolong it because you could be damaging your hearing by not doing anything about it.

Check for a free clinic in your area, you have an infection and are going to need medical treatment or you're going to continue to suffer and get worse.

It sounds like you have an infection. See your dentist and he will probably prescribe antibiotics. Use warm salt water rinses to help clean the area and to make it more comfortable.
