I had real bad lower back spasms 3 years ago, and my back still hasent healed yet doctors can't find anything wrong. Last month i took a lortab at work and it was like a miracle drug I haden't felt so energized since the spasms three years ago. I guess maybe it was because it took away the constant week fealing i have in my lower back.

Opiates can effect people differently. Read the package insert, check the PDR or look up Loratab on the web and you will see it is a side effect that occurs in a small percentage of those people taking the medicine.

Most people react to it as a downer...but everybody is differant. There have been some scripts for pain that have actually made me jittery instead of down. Ask for a differant med if you are still having pain.

Yes - when I had my wisdom teeth pulled I was on them for a short time and it was amazing how much cleaning I did to the house!

No, they are meant to depress your system. If you have developed a tolerance, lower doses make make you feel "high" for a short time.

No, but they may give you a rush... If they are too strong or you are too sensitive, it may be more of a high... be careful.

No - if anything they will slow you down.

pain killers are mostly opiates not amphetamines
