Sometimes this can be a sign of arthritis but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation of the situation to see what they think is going on.

You could have some inflammation in the foot. I would suggest using some over the counter anti inflammation meds such as tyloenol or advil and so on. Use a rolling pin or a frozen bottle of water to roll up and down the bottom of your foot. If after a week or two this doesn't seem to help I would get into the doctor or if the symptoms get any worse. This can sometimes be a sign for arthirits or even an autoimmune disease if you have pain problems in other areas of your body.

How long have u had this pain? If it continues see a doctor. It might only be a bruise, but if it persists it could be something else.
