I had one of those Memory Foam Mattresses. Well, I should say my husband and I did. Yes I felt a little entrapped or sucked into it. It made me very hot all the time as your skin couldn't breath even with cotton sheets and mattress pads on top of it. Even though it was the name brand Temperpedic, (I forget how to spell it forgive me) it quickly went flat after about a year even though it wasn't supposed to do that. It then felt like sleeping on a rock since you basically now slept directly on the bed frame. The bed always felt so "dead". I didn't like it at all! Went back to a Spring Air Mattress and I will never buy a different brand.

A hospital I have surgery in, I've had back surgery eight times, went over to these mattresses and, I couldn't sleep on them, they had to find a room with the old style mattresses.
That;s how I felt every time the mattress would settle down, entrapped, like I was going to fall through.

I bought one and hated it. I gave it away as like many others find out, it make you too hot since it presses so tightly against your skin.

Memory foam really doesn't trap you, it 'cuddles' you in a way a regular mattress can't.

It's a new sensation to those who aren't used to it and can leave a person feeling trapped.

It's not a bad thing, it's good for your back and all your other 'achy' pieces and parts.
