I don't think so, because i'am swimming. I don't lose weight, but I'm more muscular.

It is a great way to exercise. Although you are asking whether it is the "best", which is largely subjective. Any exercise is going to cause weight loss if it is 1) intense enough and 2) you are spending more calories than you are taking in every day.

So if it's what you ENJOY must doing exericise-wise, then Yes, it's the best!

swimming is great all around exercise, but to lose weight you need to take in less calories than you burn... you need to calculate you BMI and activity level and go from there.. you may need to adjust a little up or down depending on wieght loss, fatigue, hunger... you need a balanced nutrious diet...in the right porportiions to lose wieght...

Yeah i swim for thirty minutes at my 24 hour fitness. And i feel more tired than when i play basketball for 3 hours.
