Tea Tree oil and conditioner. Tea Tree oil can be bought in the herbal section of the drug store/grocery store. Usually comes in 1-2 ounce bottles but it only takes a small amount mixed with the conditioner.
Put on your head and leave on for about 10 minutes.
Then get one of those tiny lice combs and comb...and comb and comb.
Then rinse the hair...dont wash as the tea tree oil will continue to fend off the lice.
The tea tree oil kills the lice.
The conditioner and combing gets the eggs out. (nothing kills the eggs)
Treat pillows and such with Lysol spray.
Put tea tree oil in shampoo once a week to continue fending off lice.

put olive oil or mayonnaise in with a plastic bag over the hair for about 4 hours. It suffocates them. Then you comb with a lice comb and make sure all nits are gone. Kerosene is the best but you have to be really careful. they die on contact.

WAS TOLD ONCE TO USE 1 PART ALCOHOL TO 1 PART BAKING SODA MIX IT UP INTO A PASTE
APPLY TO HAIR AND WRAP WITH PLASTIC
THE ALCHOHL WILL SUFFOCATE THE LICE AND THE BAKING SODA HOLDS IT ONTO THE HAIR
I THINK YOU LEFT IT ON FOR 15-20 MINIUTES AND THEN RINSE
