i checked the tiffany uk site, and they mentioned that their engagement ring starts from 690 pounds

any idea about the minimum carat they have for that price?

i can't go to the store as i don't live in a country with tiffany stores :s

How's this for the top of my head:

I know im not the smartest man. I know im not the most good looking man. But I do know that I am one lucky man because now I know I can spend the rest of my life with you. I tried to imagine living a life without you and I couldn't because you are the love of my life. You showed me the true meaning of love. I will always love you.

My fiance and I are worried that there will be people upset or that they won't have as good of a time at our reception if there is no band/dj and alcohol at it. IF I agree to have those things we will have to change (what we want to be) our reception site from our church family center to another venue, since neither or allowed on the church grounds. Neither of us care about drinking ourselves, but we are really concerned about everyone just "standing around looking at each other". Music & drinks tend to go hand in hand... What should we do?

I am the one that got her and her fiancee together. When they got engaged in 2003, she asked me to be her maid of honor. I accepted being that we have been friends since 3rd grade and best friends since 9th grade. Now that we are out of college, she is marrying him (June 2007). I found out that I am pregnant, and my mom ran into her the other day and she mentioned "I guess I need to get a new Maid of Honor since she's pregnant." Of course my feelings were SHATTERED. I have already planned all of the stuff that I should be planning, and we were supposed to go dress shopping next month. I am not sure what I should do, and I sent her an email saying we need to talk since she is never near a phone. HELP!

I bought my wedding dress early, it was a great price & I didn't want to miss out on it. Well I just found out I'm pregnant & will be about 5 months for my wedding date. This is my second pregnancy so I know that I'm going to get huge w/this pregnancy & the dress will probably not be able to be let out. The girl I asked to be my moh lives in another state. She says she would do it but she isn't sure if she would have enough money to get here for the wedding. So me n my fiance talked about it and we offered to pay her way here since it really isnt as much as we thought it would be. Then she tells me that she cant go anywhere without her boyfriend, which we do not have enough money inour budget for both of them. My fiance says he should pay for them to get up here then. I talked with another good friend of mine about this, who also lives in another state and she is going to come to the wedding, agrees with my fiance.I thought about just asking her to be my moh since i know for a fact she is going to be here and she has money to pay her own travel expenses. But im not sure how to tell the girl i already asked that i changed my mind. I mean I still really want her to come, just not b in d wedding since she is unsure if she i can make it here. the wedd is only 3months away and im panicing

I am getting married in Alaska this summer. My dress is a light gold (almost ivory). The climate is cool, so I looking for the perfect color. I LOVE red!! But red and lt. gold doesn't look good together. So I am thinking burgundy with possible gold accents. I am not sure which colors to put in my bouquet, or my MB's for that fact. I can a friend who asked me to be her Maid of Honor just last weekend and her wedding is January 20th. I obviously have no time to find another dress and have it altered! Her colors happen to be the same colors as the last wedding I was in. Is it wrong for me to wear the same dress as MOH to two different weddings? (The first bride will be at the second wedding.)
