I'm a young bride to-be, and am getting married in less than a month. How should I prepare for my wedding night, and what do I need to do once I'm there? How does this whole thing work? Only serious answers please, with some detail. Thanks!

The same way it works on any other night. No difference.

Your husband will probably have done all the preparation. Just don't be nervous. Of course I agree with the previous mention--you'll probably be too tired anyway. But since it is a special night--I'd buy some really pretty lingerie. That's all the preparation necessary.

Um, well most women nowadays dont lose their virginity on their wedding night. So I would assume (im not married) the grooming would be the same as usual. Weird. But ok....

I would recommend talking to your Family Doctor and asking for a referall for a special "lady doctor" called a gynocologist. This doctor will respectfully and in a professional manner examine your body, this includes your breasts and vagina. She will teach you how to properly care for your body and check for changes in your reproductive health. You may also feel free to speak with her regarding experiencing your first sexual encounter with your husband. If you choose she can also advise and prescribe birth control as you may not want to have children immediately (it is best to get to know you husband and bond well before children)
Before sexual activity it is best to fully understand and explore your and your partners body, speak often with eachother about what makes you happy and feel comfortable; take things slowly. Read books regarding the matter together to further educate eachother and bond as a couple. Sexual activity will come as a result of a close and intimate bond you will form with your husband.

You'll probably be too tired to do anything. If you're able to remember, bring lube.
