What is the difference between an anniversary band and wedding band? My fiance just purchased a wedding band for me, we are getting married 12-20-06 and I noticed that it says on the website "anniversary band" can I still use that as a wedding band? Does a princess cut solitaire match a princess cut chanel band? And does anyone know how wide 2.5mm is? Is it a thin band? Are we supposed to get married with a engagment and wedding band? THANK YOU!!

??? I mean, your freedom to be with someone else stopped the day you started dating someone, not the day you get married. How shallow can people be. I am not having a bachelorette party and my boyfriend isn't going to have a bachelor party. We are just disgusted at the idea of this.

For example, Aunt's and Uncle's who I haven't spoken to in as many years as I can remember. It's not that I have anything against them, just that I don't know them.

why don't more couples take dance lessons for their 1st dance...Its sooo freakin boring watching most couples just waddle back and forth like teenagers! Don't they know that others are really looking forward to see them shine?

My brother is getting married next year and his fiance asked me to be one of the birdesmaids. She is asking me what kind of dresses I would like to wear. The other two bridesmaids are not even past the age of 14 and I am 21. Her colors are spring colors not sure exactly I think a springy green is one of them. What would be a good style of bridesmaid dress since she does not know what she wants and is asking me. We have looked around but have not found anything she likes yet.

I've been trying since September to get a guest list together for my wedding and I have my side done but I've been asking my fiance and his mom to put one together and they haven't yet. Its beginning to frusterate me because we want to have an outdoor wedding and I need to know how many people will be attending so I can decide where I want to have it. How can I let them know that they need to get a move on without sounding rude.

I have been with my BF for 12 years now and I know they consider me as a part of the family. His sister is nice but we are not that close. She is getting married in Asia and she invited me to attend so I have to buy my own tickets and all. My BF is on the entourage and she partnered him with the relative of her groom to be. I felt a little bad because everyone in the family are included and I'll be like an outsider if attend. I already bought my tickets but when I saw the invitation, I felt bad because her entourage was very long and I'm not included. I felt that they don't have respect for me as her brother's BF for 12 years. I guess my point is, I felt I should be included as a respect for me. Well, I guess I'm not family when I thought I was part of their family. What would you do in this case if you have a brother that has a GF for 12 years? Would you include her on your entourage since your brother will be on it or not and why?

I have been in several weddings and the last couple I was in the bride paid for the hair. The last wedding I was in the bride paid for the hair and Makeup! I also thought that the bride was suppose to pay for at least part of the hair but I am hearing different stories. I am struggling with my budget and it's getting tight... and now my FI wants to get limos so people don't have to drink and drive- which is smart, just costly. So one of my bridemaids actually told me I was nuts for trying to pay for 6 people's hair and makeup and the bridemaids should do it themselves or pay for it.
What's the proper here??
Who is suppose to pay for the hair?

A close friend is engaged and wants me to be a bridesmaid. She cheats on her boyfriend/future husband, then tells me about like it is no big deal. I do not care what she does but at the same time why should I have spend $300 on a dress, plane ticket, and who knows what else if she is not taking it seriously. I do not want to be involved AT All, It has gotten to the point where I do not want to discuss her wedding plans with her and I ignore some of her calls Help how can I get out without any hard feelings?

When my fiance and i decided to get married we told our families. My fiance's brother has hated me since he met me 6 years ago. He has caused so many problems already. When my fiance and I moved in together is when everything got way out of hand! I work later than my fiance so I would come home from work and Brandon(my soon to be brother in law) would be there with beer and he would always bring 3-4 girls as well he would do things to try to make it look as if Dustin wasn't being faithful. He has done everything to ruin our relationship. Just two nights ago he called and said that our wedding gift was going to be a trip for my fiance and himself to Vegas!! I was outraged! I said no! My fiance was ok with it because of the problems brandon had already caused and Brandon tries to pressure Dustin into things. Now he has already bought the plane tickets and Dustin feels obligated to go. I do not want him to go! I don't need the drama that brandon will cause.

I'm looking to give my wedding a theme from anywhere between the 1920's and 1940's. For my reception though, I want to have objects everywhere of things from these periods. Like a pair of those old lace up ankle boots (Mary Poppins Style). I'm going to be having a DJ playing old songs but can't think of any good decoration items. Also, for my invitations, I don't want to send out a paper invitation but rather, an object. For example, my sister got married on the beach in Hawaii and for her inviation she sent out bottles filled with sand and shells and scolls with every guest name on it. The actual invitation was laquered to the bottle. Any ideas on something unique I could do for mine?
