The average wedding salon will tell you that you need to order your dress 3-6 months before the wedding - and that is in fact that average wait time for a wedding dress which means you need to start looking ASAP. If you shop online, you can find places that can get your dress in 6 - 12 weeks.

I dont know where your wedding is, but I do know that here in NY if you dont get your wedding dress at least 8 months in advance your very limited to suggestion and can possibly be screwed. Not only does it take time finding the right one, but the alterations take a lot of time too. Go get it ASAP. good luck with everything.

I would say start looking around for a dress. Get an idea on how you want your dress to look and belive me when you see the dress you are ment to wear you will know. It will catch your eye. Don't rush finding a wedding dress... you always have to shop around and know how much you are going to leave to paying for your wedding dress... If you rush it then you won't get the dress that is ment for you. Good luck and Congradualtions. I am sure you will look beautiful no matter what. Enjoy!

Look and buy, now. The closer it gets to Spring, the more you will pay. There are great deals going on, right now. Check out ebay.com. You can get gourgeous designer dresses on there
for 50-90 percent off what you'd pay in a dept. or bridal store.
Consider buying a used worn only once gown. I did. My wedding gown retailed for over $2000, I got a used one on Ebay, for $20.00
plus shipping.
You can also get great deals on bridesmaid gowns, shoes, veils,
etc.
Take the money you save and use it for the down payment on a house or to finance a great honeymoon.....

Get it now!!! You only have 4 months and the time starts running out quick!! Also, the dress might have to be sent back for some reason or another then you will be stressing, plus if you are picky you will need several times to go. This is your one time, enjoy taking time for a decision but make the decision soon.

That's nice that you stay much the same weight, but that don't matter April will be here before you know it, best to start looking now, you might find what you want right away and then you might not find anything you like tiill the last minute, you just don't know.
Off with you now . . go!

Get it now they need alot of time to get the dress and make time for alterations. You actually should have gotten it alot sooner if your wedding is April 2007

Most wedding dresses aren't a perfect fit, so there may be some alterations for you. I'd start now. Spring is just around the corner.

(at least I keep telling myself that. I'm freezing!)

I would make sure you order it no less than 7-8 months before the wedding. Sometimes it can take up to 6 months to get one ordered. Thats how long mine is taking.

it is never to soon to find your dress. my wedding is in april also, and i would suggest finding your dress as soon as possible. i found a dress that i absolutely love, but the store told me it takes at LEAST 6 months for it to get delivered here, so in my case it would have been wise for me to have looked earlier. also, finding your dress will set the tone for your wedding. you will be able to envision it a little better. trust me, my whole theme changed from outdoor, casual, to very formal in a church once i found my dress. CONGRATS!
