Our wedding is Dec. 16, 2007. I want a centerpiece more original than just a candle or vase and flowers. Any good ideas? Colors are deep red and silver.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 4 years. We are completely sure that we love each other very much. We met in high school when we were both freshman, now we are in college with a bright future. We've been planning to get married but We are students with part time jobs and we can't afford a fancy wedding!! Will i regret marrying him in a court house, or in the beach or anywhere by ourselves..no family? Has anyone ever married someone in that conditions?....help..

I'm looking for something at a reasonable price. As of right now I don't think I will be having any guest we have decided to get married there and then just come back and have a nice reception. Any ideas?

My fiance has an old friend that he used to be really close to but they rarely even talk anymore. Reason is because the guy is sort of a self centered prick. He is the type that talks behind peoples back and thinks hes better than everyone. I really dont want him to be invited. But I think my fiance feels badly because there are other friends from that circle that will for sure be invited. Not to be a Bi*ch but I am not sending an invitation. But how should I tell my fiance nicely that there is no way in heck this guy is getting invited?

My childhood pal just recently asked me if we could get married. We would only make things official next year at the end of the year (bascially a year from now) & today we were gonna meet. He phoned me while i was at the Jenna Clifford looking at rings i told where i was. He said that he was gonna be a bit lat as his fanbelt in his car broke (female-i aint understand cars) he just said now that they found out where the leak was & that there is no other girl that i am competing with & i stole his heart & that he stopped chatting to all his female pals (female pals happened about a week or two ago) after i had told him i was at Jenna Cliffod & had liked a ring he said that i should sms him the details& we will go by tomorrow together to see the ring. Is he for real or must a move on? Im getting mixed emotions. HELP!!!

I have never been married before, but my boyfriend of 2 years was married once before. We talked about marriage the other day, and he wants to cut everything out. he wants a simple family wedding, and no recepction. His first wedding (I believe) was a full blown wedding. Anyway I am not okay with this. I don't want a full blown wedding, but I would like something. So if you have been married before give me your opinoin on what you would do if you were to get married again.
This would be my first marriage. Is he being respectfull of me?

My concern is, I don't know if I can stay married to him any longer. He has violent outburst of rage where he will break his cell phone, hit himself in the face, shout very loud, gets a monthly speeding ticket. He almost appears like a psychopathic maniac. We are not sexually intimate since a year. We have a new baby and he has a very bad temper. I gets very nervous when he gets into his rages. Although he has never hit me, I will not think twice about calling 911 if he did. But, It seems as though he goes mentally insane like he becomes another person. He is so sweet and kind when everything is going good, but he can't seem to handle stressful situations or arguements. We once shared great moments together but now it's as though I can't trust him anymore not even with our baby. I love him, but he needs mental help or medication for his anger. If I apply for a divorce now before he gets his permanent visa, I was wondering if this will hurt his chances of he staying in America.

I am a 26 year old female that is getting married in about 10 months. Certain deposits need to be made within the next month, that I won't have the money for until about 4 or 5 months down the rd. A good male friend has offered to loan me the $2000 I need towards the wedding. It should be said that I've borrowed money before from this person & paid it back promptly, & would have this amount paid back by Sept. But for something like my wedding, should I accept a loan to the tune of $2000 even if it will be paid back in 8 months? If I do, should I inform my fiance that I indeed have borrowed the money from this friend as well? The reason my fiance & I don't have the extra cash right now is because we are working on lawyers fees for his papers (taking 1st priority over the wedding, etc) As we all know, you need to book & place deposits asap on certain things for a wedding. Family isn't an option as they have enough money to "just get by", & bank loans charge interest, my friend wont.

My boyfriend just proposed marriage to me, but we will not be able to focus on purchasing a "real" engagement ring because of an upcoming surgery. I'd like to wear some sort of engagement ring on my ring finger. Does it look strange for a woman to wear a simple gold band in lieu of a diamond ring (we will eventually purchase a diamond ring)?
