It's really your choice, but I liked the idea of wearing them together after the ceremony. Wear the engagement ring on your other hand - make sure you have moved it - like, tell someone to remind you, you don't want to be fumbling to remove it at the ceremony. After you are given the wedding band, move your engagement ring on top of the wedding band.

My husband put both rings on my finger. He put the wedding band on first, because it is supposed to be closest to your heart, and then he slipped the engagement ring on. That way there was no trying to get the ring off before we exchanged rings.

I just got married 2 months ago. I wore my engagement ring on my right hand. As soon as the priest blessed our bands and we finished says our vows, I went ahead and put my engagement ring on top of my wedding band. No one notice how quick I did it. Don't waiy until after the ceremony.....Your engagament ring complements your wedding band and you want the whole world to see.......Congratulations on your wedding....Enjoy it to the fullest.......

typically in a christian wedding the bride wears the engagement ring on her right hand ring finger.
lots of other religions have the father of the bride wear the ring on his right hand pinky finger. ---i really like that one. it's sweet. gives your daddy a purpose!
ooooorrrr...have your mom wear it! your dad gets to walk you down the aisle and also say, "her mother and i"....let your mom have a role!
good luck!

Some people choose to wear it on their right hand and add it to their left after the ceremony. you may also opt to wear it on your left hand and have your FH remove it before putting on your wedding band and replace it

Yepper, goes on the other hand until after the ceremony. Then (traditionally in the US) goes on top of the wedding band.
