If she is going to be in the bridal party, then get something at the store where the bridesmaids got their dresses so they can match, but otherwise, go to the mall and get a nice cute dress. Also, i have seen specialty stores that sell formal clothes for kids, but i am not sure what size she is or what is the theme of the wedding. Just shop around, weddings are the most fun to shop for!

Okay, first off, stay away from the bridal stores. She's 13 for goodness sake. Go to JC Penney's. They have a great selection of eveningwear and formalwear. Second, again, she's 13. Don't go overspending on a dress she's going to wear once...twice if your lucky. Finally, don't buy white. Do the girl a favor and find her something that makes her feel grown up and pretty (but not trashy!). White dressed are for little girls, not teens.

Good luck to you. And congratulations to her brother.

If I remember correctly, they have the most darling dresses and accesories for young girls!

I was directed to this sight when I thought I was going to have a girl. No good. I had 3 sons.

added later * yes that is the correct web site name...oh now I have to browse...just because!

depends on her size, you may want to try upscale dept stores or some consigmnet shops ... you really can't go by age anymore, you need to go by her body type and try to keep her conservative
