McDonalds could actually be something special to them.
Perhaps thats where they met, had their first date or worked together and fell in love.
Don't judge them for this, it could actually be meaningful.

I think any couple that fits their wedding/reception to their budget deserves a big round of applause for not being suckered by the marriage-and-reception industrial complex!

I know a heck of a lot of couples (or their parents) who are 5 figures in debt paying for a huge fairy-tale ceremony and reception with all the trimmings. Heck of a way to start a life, IMO. I say a toast to the couple that says that they're going to stay on budget and don't need to throw thousands of dollars away on things that don't really matter.

What really matters? That the bride and groom love each other. That's ALL that matters.

Some people do not buy into the whole wedding thing. Some people just get married. Could be the case here.
Or maybe that was all they could afford, though I think Micky D's is waaay overpriced.

I was out one night with my fiance while he was playing a gig at a country dance hall. And a couple showed up there who had just gotten married. And they danced the night away.
I guess, whatever makes your boat, float.

Are you sure they really had their reception at McDonald's? Sometimes there are hours between the ceremony and the reception. Maybe they just stopped in for a snack?

When my wife and I got married I wanted to stop at Culver's on the way from the church to the reception, it was on the way. My wife wouldn't hear of it.

that's because very, very not often does a pair who receives married of their childrens stay at the same time. As someone older, we've been with the help of all of it- and also you haven't. If i ought to bypass decrease back to my teenage self, i'd basically supply myself this suggestion "pay interest at the same time as someone older than you is providing you with suggestion. that's not because they try to be a jerk, that's because they try to assist." you're extremely youthful, you'll replace a superb quantity over the subsequent ten years or so, and no count number how mature you imagine you're- you at the on the spot are not that mature, because you may't be, because you're 18. Being with someone in a teenage courting by no ability ability you're waiting to dedicate your lives to one yet another. human beings would probably take you extra heavily and does not furnish you with this kind of difficult time in case you'd be life like, and marry in many years. An 18 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous who basically graduated severe college who has decrease than no existence experience isn't precisely going to be the superb decide of who to marry. basically from personal experience, i replaced into engaged at 21, and we broke up... and it replaced into the superb element that ever befell. If we had gotten married, we actually would were divorced many years later. i imagine you're extremely, extremely doing your self a disservice with the help of marrying at your age.

i think that's pretty funny. i guess i'd rather see that than some lame couple that spends $60,000 on a pretentious wedding reception and then can't afford to go on a honeymoon or buy a house. i guess all i would miss would be the open bar and the flirty dancing that i love so much at weddings.

Oh my, did you see the movie, "Super Size it"?
That is really trashy. Even if they cannot afford much, they should have had their reception at a park, home or somewhere free. Not McDonald's!

I say whatever makes a marriage memorable for the couple, should be their choice. They're the only ones who have to live with it
