My wife of soon 13 Yrs took her rings off because thay were to tight on her finger, and now that it's getting colder she doesn't want to put them back on. I am pissed because she said that the ring is a symbol and it's not the ring that says we're married but what's in the heart that counts. I think it's bullshit i believe it is a symbol that you are married and when you give a ring you are giving a part of yourself, and not wearing it makes me feel like that part of me is not there when i see an empty hand. Am I being silly or should you always wear you rings, ladies I need some help on this one.

me and my bf love each other to death. hes 21 an im 19 1/2. altoghter weve got about $10G saved up. he works 4 days a wk with low pay, i work 5 days an some wknds. his family loves me, my parents are getting used to him (lol). i know if we suddenly got engaged my parents would flip and his family an all our friends would say "your too young".. truth is we want kids too.. as in now! Both him and his fiancee are both cathloic and the guest list at the wedding is over 400 people. Now I was told that i'm invited to the wedding but not to the reception it was for family and friends only and that I will have to drop off my gift at the wedding. Now should I go to the wedding and bite my tounge or should I not go and tell him what I think of not being invited to the reception. Has anybody ran across this ever before ? Is this really rude or is it just me?
