Either can work, depends on the people.
Seriously...I've worked with people of many different cultures and have seen a little bit of everything. Arranged marriages really can work. If done correctly, the suitors are chosen based on knowledge of the person they are chosen for. The two will have a chance to meet before the marriage is to take place and if for any reason one or the other or both aren't interested, the marriage will not happen. Because many factors are put into arranging a marriage, it can have a very good chance for survival. On the other hand, these marriages can be disastrous, especially for the woman, if the arrangers have ulterior motives - money, status, whatever. Often in cases like this, the marriages a mismatch -women paired with men old enough to be there father who are very controlling, abusive, etc. That does happen as well.
With love marriage it can work if you believe that with love anything is possible. However, when a marriage is based on love and nothing else, it's like setting something up to fail. Don't get me wrong, love marriages can definitely work, but can't be based solely on love or it doesn't have much of a chance.
But really, if you stopped to think about it...if a match through an internet dating site leads to marriage...what kind of marriage would it actually be considered? A hybrid of both?

Love marriage why should anyone go with an arranged marriage? You should love and know the person before you marry them. You have to know the person, be able to trust the person, be honest with them, and love them BEFORE you marry them. You can not have that with an anrranged marriage. At least I don't think you can.

Why in today's world would anyone agree to an arranged marriage? If you can't marry for love, you're better off remaining single.

Definitely a love marriage. It is hard enough to live with someone you fell in love with on your own, sometimes you want to kill each other lol, in an arranged one you might actually kill them!

Love marriage. This is the person you are committing to spending the rest of your life with, do you need more justification?

Love marriage, it's not just living with someone. It's being with someone you can't live without.
