Well if you want to use your color preferences for a wedding I would do something light since it is still summer. Now if you are having an evening wedding you can bring those colors down a few shades just to add a little bit more drama and richness, but if its a day wedding i would go with a lighter color. Now some might not be able to in-vision silver as a main color, but it can be done so easily and look so elegant. Silver can tie into things on the table in the reception. Mirrors on the table with candles and maybe 2 accent colors of flowers can add quite a soft, elegant effect. Even chair covers can be in colors that have a soft shimmer of silver. If you did red and a softer color of red (almost a pink as the 2 pop colors)you could use the color in the bouquet but also add on some of the flowers a shimmer of silver which your flouriest can do for you. The ribbon could also be silver around the bouquet. You can really work with those colors to have a beautiful Aug. wedding. I hope I could help! Happy Holidays!

Judging by the color choices you like you could do a black and red. I have seen it done nicely.
You could do a black and white with silver accents. Seen that as well and very pretty.
You could do a red and pink themed wedding. The favors could be valentine colored m&ms. You would probably need to visit their website. Or you could do red and pink valentine heart candies with messages on them. Again their website would need visited. And decorations could be anything love related-hearts for an example. The silver might work with this but it depends on the reds and pinks that are chose.
You could do a pink and silver as well.
I do not know of a way to incorportate them all other than the guys in black tuxs, and you women in red-some in pink, with silver jewlry.
Hope this helps give you some ideas.

I was in an August wedding a few years ago, and the bride chose a Grey-ish silver. It was an evening black-tie affair, and the pics came out super. It was a very elegant, understated color choice. Don't go nuts with a million different colors. Pick one color for your bridesmaids, then one main accent color. If you go crazy with a zillion colors, the pics tend to look a little scattered.

My suggestions for an August Wedding:
1. Reds, Orange, Browns (Fall Ensemble)
2. Deep Purple (various shades)
3. Black/White (with red accents)
Good luck! :-)

August is a time where summer is ending and Autumn is beginning. Those are wonderful colors for your wedding.
BLACK- can be used for romantic silouhettes
RED- leaves can easily be found
PINK- petals of blossom trees and bushes should easily be found in august
SILVER- is a good color at weddings, good also for ribbons and dresses, I see silver at lots of weddings. My mom's wedding dress was silver.
With your colors you could get away with a paris theme.

I went to an August wedding. The bridesmaids all wore a very beautiful shade of green, but each selected their own style of dress. Black is pretty much worn out now, silver is too Christmasy. but hey, that's just me.

I think red and black would be nice for an evening wedding. For an afternoon I like coral and yellow.

If its an evening wedding go with a deep red, close to burgandy and black. If its during the day I'd do a bright red.
