Nothing wrong with re-using the dress, especially if it's the same color! My MOH was in a wedding that the bride chose the same designer/color as I did. I pretty much insisted she wear the dress in my wedding. Bridesmaids dresses are nearly always a waste of $$, in that you never are going to wear it again. If you can get two uses out of it, you are a lucky girl!

I would make sure that both friends are okay with it - the first bride who you wore the dress for and this January bride. I'd call them and explain how it matches (show it to the new bride if she hasn't seen it yet) and make sure that neither bride feels like you're doing something "wrong." I don't think either one will have a problem with it, and there's no reason (nor time!) to find another dress that matches.

This is a situation that you need to talk to the bride and the previous bride about. If I was the bride I wouldn't mind. I used a bridesmaid dress for a second wedding so just try talking to the bride and see if she would mind.

As long as the current bride says it is okay, then I don't see a problem with it...if you feel comfortable in the dress then go for it!
If not, you could always go to a place like Ann Taylor, or even a Macy's and find something in their cocktail/evening wear section. A few weeks is no time to get something from a bridal salon, but you can always find something off the rack at a retail store.

It must be a neat dress! Lucky *Napoleon Dynamite voice*!
My first bridesmaid dress was so hideous, I threw it away right when I got home, and my 2nd one was pretty but I can't see myself wearing it again, so I may have it shortened into a cocktail dress.
I don' t think it's wrong at all. Your friend should be flattered that you want to wear her dress again. However, if you have doubts, just tell her what you plan to do. I'm sure she won't see any problem w it. Best of luck and have fun at the weddings. Have a drink for me!

I don't see any problem in re-wearing the dress. In my wedding I looked for a dress that the girls could wear again, so I don't see why wearing it to another wedding would be a big deal.

If the bride has no problem with it I'd say go for it. If she gives you a hard time, then she can always pay for you to get another dress.

It is not wrong, so long as the bride (the current one) says it's okay. She might be planning on you to rush ship a brand new dress. If I were her, I wouldn't have a problem with it, though.

It's not bad luck or anything like that - but I would suggest asking the bride, and the last bride - just to make sure THEY are both okay with it:) If they are - go for it!!

You can still use the dress but you do need to make some changes to it, the color is right but you can add some delicate lace to the neckline, sleeves, even the hem.
Look at other dresses and see what you can 'borrow' from them to change the look of the dress.
