I am getting married in Alaska this summer. My dress is a light gold (almost ivory). The climate is cool, so I looking for the perfect color. I LOVE red!! But red and lt. gold doesn't look good together. So I am thinking burgundy with possible gold accents. I am not sure which colors to put in my bouquet, or my MB's for that fact. Any suggestions with colors or decor?

I like the gold accents, too. I used calla lillys that were yellow and red in color (Mango, I think they are called?) I also think a pale green would look nice with your color dress and the climate.

I was in that area this summer- beautiful!

I got married in AK last summer and it was gorgeous! Depending on when you're planning to get married, it may be a lot warmer than you expect. We took a lot of our pictures outside and I know the boys were sweating in their tuxes (we got married in July).

Red and gold go together fine, but it'll give the impression of a Chinese wedding. If you're okay with that, go with it! Burgundy would be beautiful and you could get matching calla lillies for the bouquets.

Your bouquets do not need to match the bridesmaid's dresses. They just need to compliment them. My girls wore pink dresses with maroon sashes so I did white flowers with a tiny bit pink and some green. It turned out beautifully.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors? If it is outdoors, you may want to do something to match the colors around you. Most of Anchorange has flowers everywhere outside so that would be easy. If it is indoors, make sure you check out the colors in the carpet. This may give you some great ideas. Good luck! I'm attaching my wedding video below so you can steal any ideas that you may want. :)

The burgundy color is a great choice or you can check Carmin color it's a color between the red and the burgundy.
The gold accents are perfect.

Burgandy and gold would look really good especially if it is an evening wedding, however, my dress is ivory with antique gold accents, and I assure you, I AM going with RED! They do look good together. I have held my bouquet with my dress, and it is stunning! My attendants bouquets are small versions of mine and it all looks great!

Good luck!
