I'm scared he might meet someone and divorce me.

He just comes home from work and basically ignores me.He wont go out or do anything like go to a bar or theme park or whatever. He does not like going to church with me and sometimes I go alone. It is so embarassing. He has been recovering from meth and lied to me on lots of times.Told me his best friend is on meth and that he refuses stoping their friendship. He calls him during the day but not me.The sad thing is the best friends wife is super sweet major christian and speaks 5 languages and teaches to deaf children.Somewhere in this I am the bad person? The best friend bad mouths me and my husband does not defend me.My husband has hit me twice and I never had the heart to turn him in.So he says he will divorce me before he would quit being friends with this so called best friend.Do you think maybe he is gay?

We got married when we were teenagers and rushed into starting a family. The first year was rough he had an affair but we moved past it. Over the next few years it was an on and off thing..Id leave him for a week and go home or vice versa. We went through 2 deployments to Iraq, had to kids, and dealt with an alcohol addiction, but lately I just feel like we are fight a war that can't be won. It seems like something is always against us. We decided to seperate before his last deployment and the first few months were hard but then I started to move on...went back to school and learned to depend on myself I also met someone we arent anything more then friends but i do want more and my husband came home from iraqthe other day and he wants to give us another try and i want to for our kids and because our vows meant something to me, but im scared to give up everything i have now for us to just fail once again...what would you guys do?

The bra has a split in the middle of black lace cup, and of course it's not for everyday, just for special occasions, if you know what i mean. When I got the package i decided to show a few of these mail ordered items to my husband, well he said this bra was "tacky".
First of all, it was so gay of him to use this word - i still can believe he said it instead of having fun with it.

Never done this before. Should I carve out the pumpkins eyes, nose and mouth with the kitchen knife. I am 40 years old, still on my first marriage. I have never attempted to carve out a real pumpkin for Halloween. If I do, this will be my very first time! Thank guys for your honest answers in advance.

I hate to be "Shallow Hal" here....
I'm considering settling down because i've found a woman that fascinates and excites me physically and inspires me to do things for her and be a better man. A large part of this has to do with her physical beauty. I love to be and be seen with her.

Of course she is remarkabley selfish, stubborn and shallow in many ways and other I have other partners not quite so pretty who I could see would be better in the long run as a lifelong companion.

Can someone please offer me some insight?

Yes, he knew it was my 40th birthday. He did not throw me a party. He did not take me to dinner. He did not get me a gift or even a card. He did not tell his family or any of our friends so there were no well-wishes from anyone besides my family (who sent cards and roses to my work). He went to a bar and played poker that night. I am hurt, disappointed, crushed, and just down-right furious. Am I being ridiculous? My brother tells me my husband is a bum and says I should divorce him. HELP!!

I have applied for tenncare/medicade for my children.MY husband makes a good salary we just can't afford private insurance.I don't think we are going to qualify for it for free.I think we are going to go under a different section that you have to pay for.My olderest son is by my ex and he is throwing a fit because he doesn't want to have to help me pay for our son's medical. He lives with his mom he is 40 years old and has no job and pays no support. My question is he told me that he would go apply for our son knowing that I already have because he says he can get it for free.Do you think that I will get in trouble if he goes and tries to get it because he is to cheap and sorry to pay his part.We have joint custody. What do you think they will do if he goes and tries when I already have it on him.

This question is for those who've been in the same situation. We've been divorced for a year and a half now, is it normal to feel weird about him re-marrying? We are not the best of friends but we are civil to each other, we are both dating somebody else for over a year now and yet I felt weird when I heard that he's going to get married. Is this natural?

I know I would.

I'm just suprised at how many people always say to "mind your own business" or "don't get involved" or "it's not your problem", etc.

I'm just curious why people feel that way. The thought of being cheated on is awful enough, but it makes me wonder whether my friends would just sit back and laugh at me like many of the people on here.

I can't think of any reason why someone would want to protect the cheater. I mean, you don't need to have a sit down conversation with the whole family, you could even send an anonymous letter.

Thoughts? What would you do?

I love my daughter very much and have suffered over the past three years watching as my ex and his new wife verbally abuse and berate my daughter. I feel that all he sees when he looks at her is me and he hates me. I allowed him a divorce even though he was the one that was having the affair, ( the new wife was the other woman.) All I asked was that he support his child. She used to spend everyother weekend with him but things deteriorated to the point that she refuses to go out there any more and got a job so she could say she had to work weekends and therefore couldn't come out. They call her fat, worthless, disrespectful, argumentative and that's just the things I can say in here. He complains to her all the time that he has to pay child support and I really feel that if he has a problem with it, he should not be burdening her with it. I am running out of space here but would really appreciate any words of wisdom you could give me on how to handle all this.

Ok, this might be a toughy for some of you to answer, but i'd really like honest answers, and please dont be negative, i need some serious advice here. Alrighty, my boyfriend and I are in a 'living together' relationship right now, and, i knew when i got into this, that he was still married, pursuing a divorce, already seeing the lawyer and all. Now the thing is, his soon-to-be ex wife, wanted nothing to do with him up until she found out that he was seeing someone again. So for the past 2 months, it seems like she has been trying to weasel her way back into his life. Something I might wanna add here is that while they were married, she had an affair and ended up pregnant. Hence forth, the reason for the divorce, now, the baby on the other hand, no dna test has been done. So the baby comes to visit once in awhile. I'm a very territorial person, and I get jealous easily. Am I over reacting when she asked to come spend a night with us because things in her current relationship arent

If a man cheats continuously on a spouse, how do you know if it is something he is lacking in the relationship, an addiction, etc.; or if he is just "one of those guys?"

My husband just told me he wants to give up working and all worldly possessions and live in a Buddhist Monistary! This means I would be paying for all of the bills myself, I might as well be single! Am I a fool for being with someone as whimsical as this, and should I leave him? I think it is over for our marriage, i just want someone else's opinion. What would you do?
