I feel so depressed... My ex won't talk to me anymore, and I miss her so much. I tried to apologize to her, but she hates me now. I want to be a good friend to her, but she won't let me. I just don't know what to do anymore. I still love her in my heart, but she doesn't seem to care about me anymore the way I care about her. I use to be good with resolving conflicts with other people, but this time around no matter what I try it doesn't do any good, and I feel so miserable and worthless.

They've been separated for 5 months. He was cheating on her with me when his wife was pregnant...I don't know why she left. They also have 2 children together. I've moved into the house with him and he tells me they are getting a divorce. Ok, I haven't seen any papers served to him, I haven't heard him talk about the steps he's taking to initiate it. I mean it's almost been 5 months! She even moved to another state with their children. He told her to file but she won't because I guess because she doesn't want a divorce. I check his phone sometimes and he doesn't call her but he does answer when she calls him. Is he just lazy, I mean I know it is expensive to get a lawyer but there are ways you can do it yourself for a much cheaper price. I want him to marry me. Why doesn't he just get off his *** and divorce her? Like I said it's ben 5 months and she's miles and miles away!

I'm not married, yet. But when I do, I want to make sure I never get a divorce, no matter how hard it gets. My family line has been full of divorces and I want it to end with me. Please help I don't want to become a statistic.

Hi, when my husband was going through his divorce with his ex, she gave her wedding band and engagement ring back to him. The engagment ring is a beautiful - 2 carat diamond and white gold....and as terrible as it is to say...I nearly love it more than my engagment ring. I go to it often to look at it and try it on. I don't feel like by doing so I'm bringing myself any bad luck, but I do feel guilty that I'm admiring something that isn't mine. The thing is...I'd love to have it (even though I wear yellow gold), or love to have the diamonds taken out and a new ring designed from it. I have no idea how to approach this topic with my husband though. And even if he'd go for it, he's very conservative. I told him I found the ring and didn't let on I knew whose it was. He told me that he bought it for some other woman in his past and now has no purpose for it. He said he is thinking about selling it. I would hate for him to sell it...what do I do?

Why is it the good men can never find a forever love the first time around time after time I see good men get cr-apped on by vicious nastey women? I guess the only good thing is the women usually never get lucky 2 times around they end up with a real loser the 2nd time around?

Vise versa it is the same with women the good women always get a jerk the first time around it seems like!

I have been divorced from my son's father for 3 years now. He has lived in another state now for most of that time. He's not doing well economically and doesn't pay child support. I've been struggling with our son who has been acting out in school and home since the divorce and I spend a lot on babysitting. I came up with a hypothetical plan to move my ex in so he can cut my sitter costs, by us watching him on opposite work shifts, and also have them bond again and work out some issues my son's been having. We would split rent evenly. I don't have any feelings for my ex since the split, but he often jokes that there's something still between us. Is it possible for an arrangement to work out, or is it only on tv. (Think "All of Us"). If he could be businesslike about it, I think it could benefit us both, at least until he got back on his feet. Be honest, but not mean please!

me and my hubby plan to go to visit my family.. already purchase airplane tickets back and fro that cost over $1000 for him as he don't get more leave... we agree and he so happy that he can back to his hometown too and visit my family too.. (his parents move just miles away from our home).. a few hours before we are going to airport.. his father call him and tell him if he going back to see my family.. they will never accept my hubby as their children anymore.. then, my hubby telling me that he's not going along with me.. he like mommy boy too.. they dont have any excuses for that.. my in-laws just want to break my heart. im so frustrated.. what should i do

Why did it come as a surprise that your spouse asked you for a divorce? Were other family members shocked of the divorce? Where did things go wrong?

Please share a story with lots of detail because I got the time to listen.

I haven't told my husband yet and I don't know how to. I want out of this marriage so bad but I am so scared of all the consequences once I speak my mind and tell him I want to leave. We were married for a year. He was controlling, and had some very orthodox views on women & marriage.

He was recently charged for assault because he slapped me during an argument. However he was let off in court by the judge.

We separated after this incident.

It has been a few months now. He says he loves me & wants this marriage to work.

I have suggested counselling several times. But he refuses to go. I've even tried speaking to his family about our issues, but he dismisses this. Somehow everything I'm suggesting not a good idea according to him.

Where am I going wrong here? And, why is he not taking any steps to work out our issues, if he still says he has feelings?

the minute he is left alone for any reason or any length of time he masterbates,i mean its not like he is not getting anything from me,he tells me he is more than happy with our sex life but why does he have to do this everytime i turn my back,or leave the house for a few hours?

I'm going to go straight to the point.
I was going through my husband's phone ( I was very bored).
& I found a naked picture of a model.
Then i browsed through his pictures, & there was 2 pictures of naked girls, The thing is, it looked like he had taken them from the computer because little lines appeared.Meaning, that he was looking at them online.& took pictures of the naked girls.
After i seen them, i did not mention them.
I feel very different towards him, In a way like he betrayed me.I kinda of feel hate towards him.

If I don't do what my husband wants, he confronts me about it everyday until I give in. This is about basically everything- sex, money, health issues, friends, and family.

For example:
He bullied me onto getting off of a medication and when I realized I really did need this medication, he refused to support me taking it. He mentally abused me everyday about it. Saying how "bad" it was and that I was a drug abuser. This was a doctor prescribed medication that I was taking as directed.

He has refused to let me be on his bank account, saying that he feels nervous letting me have access to his money. I have never indicated or done anything that would make him feel that way.

He has even raped me when I refused sex.

I'm not saying I've never done anything wrong in the relationship, but I'm being treated like I'm his possesion to control.

Is he controlling or is it just me? He seems to change for a short period of time only when I threaten to leave. He never changes tho

I really am mad tonight because I found out my husband has been talking to his ex who he cheated on me with a few years back. To him it is no big deal because they have a child together and I should just get over it. But, to me it is serious!! She calls him only on his mobile, never at home, and only when he is at work. I have asked him several times that if she wants to call and it is innocent, and only about their son she should call the house and he should tell her that he is married and that it causes problems for her to call him any other way. This has been an ongoing problem for a while now. What should my next move be?

is there any way to find out, before you are served with divorce papers, that someone has filed ?? how can you find out ? and also, if they file first and you have a small child together, are they able to get whatever they want since they filed first ? what do you do ? just get an attorney and file against them ? if you want sole custody, not joint, how can you get that and them only get visitation?? the reason i ask is because my sister is going thru this right now. she has a son less than 2 and her husband is jealous of her relationship w/the child and resents the baby for coming between them. he thinks she gives the baby more attention so he told her he'd divorce her if she didnt start sending the baby away to someone elses house because he got tired of him being around. of course she chose the baby and he told her to leave and he'd even help her pack. she's been at my parents the past week and he hasnt been to see the baby or call to check on him in 3 days.
