Only if he's so insecure that he's capable of being jealous of an object. I think it's something that you need to talk to him about and pick out something together. A lot of sex toys can be pleasing for both partners.

remember certain questions can never be asked,questions like this one will be quickly assumed that you want to and if he does get offended there is no correcting it.So beat around the bush and just make a statement concerning the subject of toys and see how he answers.Like,you heard that some men like to watch their wives masterbate is that true?He'll let you know wether or not to come through that door or leave it locked by his reaction

Talk to him about it first before you do somthing like that. It may turn you on but it may turn him way off. It all depends on the kind of person he is. If your trying to be spontanious about it, try hinting at it and seeing what he says.
