well, love is often done in actions...but it depends on the woman. I think no more than a few times a day...I don't get told it for months...but we've been together years. It'd be nice to hear it more often though.
When it's said everyday, it gets old. It's not as special. When I was first dating and I had a crappy sense of self, I wanted my b/f to say all the time. It was like a power struggle or a way to think I was loved but deep down, it's just an obsession that never gets satisfied.
Is girl insecure from past baggage and/or you doing things that make her insecure (no history of lying or cheating and you spending quality time with her and remembering to do nice things, esp. on holidays)?

There is no set amount of times you tell your wife you love her, you just tell her you love her when you see her. I mean if you love her and really are in love with her it will come out naturally and you would not have to ask on Answers.com but if you want an answer all the time but never ask her if she loves you because if she does she will automatically say it back to you!! Or even say it on her own. Good luck!

At a minimum twice a day: When you leave for work and before you go to bed. But look for other ways too like at the end of an email or a phone conversation. It never hurts to tell the ones you love, that you love them. If you don't, maybe someone else will.

I'd suggest reading the book, "The Five Love Languages". Then find her language. If it's the spoken word, then say it often, but also compliment her on any nice thing...good meal, nice dress, your smile is so bright today, etc. For me, I prefer when my hubby helps with the dishes and the kids. Really fills my love meter.... Gifts? Not really. Words? So-so. Actions? Definitely! So, only you know your wife. And if not, you could always ask her what she believes shows your love to her best.

There's no limit to how many times you tell the person you love how you feel about her. Just say it when you get the urge to. If you're at work and just thinking about her, pick up the phone and tell her. We like to know that even when we're apart, you still of us. But never put a limit on your feelings. Doing that puts limits on you marriage, which you don't want to do.

awe, how cute. Tell her however many times you feel like it, if shes your wife she knows you love her. personally I like to hear it from my husband at least once a day, like when hes leaving for work. But theres no set number, just let her know whenever you think it.
