Don't jump to conclusions. Yes, I suppose he could be cheating but there would be other signs, working alot of overtime, not available by phone, taking showers when he gets home, expenses you can't justify.
Of course he could be exhausted like he says. More likely its either a chemical imbalance or even depression.
Talk it over with him before you jump to any more conclusions.

How hard are you trying? Before he gets home, take a relaxing perfumed bath. Shave real close--especially you know where. Have your hair all done up and make up too.
Be waiting for him at the door when he gets home, wearing just a pair of black high heels and a skimpy sheer nightie.
You'll get a rise out of him for sure. Take care of business right there, then, make him take you anywhere but the bedroom!
If you come on to him like this, why would he want to even think about anyone else! Go get 'em girl!

there are many reasons why men lose their sex drive. And yes, sometimes it's because they're getting it somewhere else, but that's not always the case. I've found that the women I know whose husbands are cheating say that they really had a feeling he was all along and they should have listened to their gut. You need to sit down and talk with your husband. Communication is important. A good sex life is important in any marriage.

He might be tired. That is what he said isn't it? Did you used to be together like everyday or something? 5 months is a long time, and there is definitely something wrong, but I wouldn't automatically assume that he is cheating on you. There has to be more evidence than a 5 month layoff (no pun intended) of the nookie.

There is no way for me to tell. Sometimes I don't have sex for months. People are all different. He may need to see a doctor or maybe he is tired. Everybody is different. If sex is important to you try and talk to him.

What about you? Have you done the things necessary to maintain his interest? I haven't had sex with my wife in atleast a year, but it's not because I'm cheating. It's because she's allowed herself to get fat and has become physically unattractive to me. Who knows? Maybe she's not attracted to me anymore either. Anyway, I am just doing without, atleast for the time being...

sometimes life pressure can effect a man sex drive or he may have health issues that effect it also. Does he have high blood pressure? Is he on any medication that may diminish his sex drive? Also putting pressure on him about not sex can cause anxiety which will decrease his sex drive also.

He either has a medical problem he finds embarrassing to talk about or he maybe cheating. Either way you need to sit down with him and have a heavy discussion on whats really happening here.
