If I got married & live in CA and my husband bought a house before we got married, do I have rights over the house? No prenup was done.

You are entitled to half of ALL of his assets the moment you were declared "man and wife."

You need to check with your attorney. I don't think property purchased before you were married is considered part of the community property, but I could be wrong..

If he still owned the property during your entire marriage then it is a marital asset.
