asking, is over 50 SOMETIMES...men or women may marry so that someone will take "care of them"...Let's just say...you have already been married once???? I realize there are "caring homes" if something happens...But??? what is your take on re-marrying????

My husband just recently got a new young pretty co-worker that he has trained at the deli he works at. About the same time she started working there, she broke up with her boyfriend. He's starting to come home really late and lately has been acting like so much as giving me a hug is a chore. Any ideas as to what could be going on?

I am currently pregnant, and I would like to get married to my boyfriend of seven years so that our baby has the same last name and has both parents. We can make it financially on our own. We have no loans, I have a health insurance, and I have enough savings for a year.
My boyfriend has two more semesters of college to complete.
His mother thinks that we should get married next year after the delivery, meanwhile I should live with my parents because "baby would interfere with my boyfriends studies and he is not ready for the responsibility while at school". She said that in America there is no shame to carry somebody's baby and be unmarried.
My boyfriend does not want to chose between me and his mother, and wants to satisfy both of us. He says it is up to me if we get married right now, but he will stay with me no matter what.
I want another perspective. Is his mother right and I am just being paranoid?

I will try to be as brief as possible. I have been with my wife for 7 years, married for 4. For the 1st 6 years everything was great!!! She is beautiful, kind, caring, and feminine. She pushed me the last 3 years to have a baby, and to be more open to her, and show her the affection she diserves. I have had medical and financial issues and really did not give her the attention she deserved. I am finally in a better place with my medical problems and money. So, now, I am looking for her love, and guess what... it is not there. To make matters worse, now she says she does not want to have a baby, because she says she is too old, she is 32. She used to cater too me every step of the way, now it seems like she does not care at all, I asked her about it, she says everything is fine. How do I believe her though? She has been the same person everyday basically for 6 years and then all of a sudden there is this feeling that she just does not care!!! Help, any ideas?

My neighbors are having an affair! The girl has a man and daughters 2 and 3 years old. He has a woman and an 8 month old son. They creep back and forth while their mates are at work but both claim they dont care for the other. I am friends with everyone and feel bad about having to keep their secret. Should I tell.

How can a person tell that to another person when you yourself
have no control over time or fate?
How can a person give a guarentee like that as if that person has total control of life to send a girl and a guy right to you?
Why not tell them "you will win the lottery..there are plenty of tickets in the sea.."
"have faith and your winning ticket will come"
"there is always someone winning ticket out there for you"

I got married to my wife in late 2004. In 2006 she lost her job and we have been living on just my income since then. I have taken up a second job working nights so that we do not fall behind finacially with the agreement that she would take care of the house and our daughter. But she has not been keeping up with the house. It is literly a pigsty. I work most days from 8am till midnight and a weekend here and there. I dont have the time or the energy to work 80+ hours a week and do all the house work on top of that. And anytime I bring it up she gets all defensive and says that she has trouble just keeping up with our 2 year old. I dont like living like this but i dont know what to do to actually get her to help out. Do I have the right to be upset and does anyone have any suggestions?

i was in relationship 7years, he was foolin around with an older woman and eventually moved in with her. that was 3 wks ago. i met someone for the first time and think i fell in love with him. now the boyfriend wants to come back. i said i would never go back, was happier than i have been in a long time. made mistake and slept with x and now the new guy is very cold towards me. how come he does not understand that i truly do love him and am confused about situation. i am feeling like if he was really into me he wouldnt shut me out and would give me a chance but he says he knew this was going to happen. come on, its only been 3 weeks and i know that i said alot of things to this guy that i thought i meant but i found myself stuck and scared. the new guy was like the sun when the storm was over. he lives in another state and we met only once in person. a big part of me wants to do somethin so crazy to show him how much he really meant to me. any words of comfort please?

should i be worried about my future wife? she works all the time, she cleans all the time and when there is any free time for the both of us to be together she always seems to be busy or reading a book or sleeping. I always have to do what she is doing and she has no interest in anything that i enjoy. we have a kid together that is really why i'm still around. i'm am totally thinking that she hates me and tries to avoid me even though she tells me she loves me everyday. i also feels that she may be using me. every time i ask her for anything she gets very upset - its almost like she's telling me to sit there and shut-up until she feels that i can move again. i feel if i leave her that i will be named the bad one and my kid won't respect me anymore (whom i love so much). but if i don't leave her i will be depressed till the end of my days. what would you do in my situation - i'm just collecting some ideas before doing anything drastic. the relationship only turned sour after childbirth.

We've been together for 8 years. We have serious disagreements over childrearing. He yells and swears & stomps & sometimes punches walls when he get's mad. He gets mad daily!I'm worried about the effect his temper is having on the children. He's not physically abusive, but mentally? emotionally? I've tried talking about it but he always blames in on the children & what they did or didn't do right.And he says the swearing is a habit & won't stop overnight but he's trying...for the last 6 years?It was never really bad until after I was pregnant with our son & now I notice my children & myself yelling more & more.I'm considering divorce! But will it hurt my children more to leave him?We argue about our differences, he blames everyone else & then the next day, it's like nothing ever happened! Counseling just results in him feeling attacked and betrayed by our dirty laundry being aired.Any advice?

He treated me kind of badly when my own father died in Jan of 2006. I was crushed and overwhelmed with grief. He had a daughter living with him who was just manipulating him like you would not believe. Well, she is gone now with her kids and husband, so I kind of thought about putting the past behind me and doing something. I dont know if I should or not. What do you think? Somtimes I feel like paying him back for being such a jerk in some nasty way, but at the same time, I realize that is not healthy.

My babys father and I do not get along for anything.We both have feelsings for eachother and there is some kind of "I want to get back with you and be a real family" but after all is said and done he's still with the chick he left me and my daughter who will be coming soon,he's still with her.And during my pregnancy he and I have not made it easy for my pregnancy because I have a short temper and alot of ill feelings towards him because he hurt me.Well somethings hit the fan and I took a lil' vacation away from home.I realized that he brings out the worst and me and I feel that it is a good idea to just have a middle man to deliver all the info about doctors just so I wont be stressed out with my pregnancy anymore and we wont have to be in front of eachother and I just need to know,that would be best wouldnt it to stay away from eachother for the rest of my pregnancy,i want to be healthy and stress free for my baby?

A few months back, my wife thought she saw a girl checking me out and got mad. I have pretty low self esteem so I thought she was plane insane when she said that. The girl was sort of attractive red head, bit shorter then me wearing a black dress that didn't show anything off really. (I didn't check her out but I glanced over when she pointed her out) But my wife started to cling to me glaring at the girl, the girl didn't seem to really notice.

Was it all in my wifes head? Could a girl that was good looking be checking me out?!

-me- I'm 6'0" 190lbs. toned legs since I walk allot slight pudgy stomach (in clothing I look like a skinny guy that is in okay shape, not fat but not cut). Long Blonde hair, Nordic face (large nose -not balbus- elongated chin, ears the point forward) my arms aren't toned, I can lift allot with them but no bulging biceps type of thing.... basically I look pretty average.
