I have a court case coming up soon (on 23rd June) - I have been advised by my lawyer that 'vakalat will be posted' - I need to know what this means? Is it a way to gain some time i.e. delay the hearing..? Or what?

My boyfriend and I have been together for quite sometime, 2+ years. We are both in our mid-20's. We've discussed marriage, but not heavily.

Recently, I saw a beautiful engagement ring. I thought it would be cute to send a picture of it to my boyfriend, in an e-mail. He likes me to spend him pictures of jewerly I like, b/c he's clueless on what to get for birthdays and such. So, it's not like I'm being rude about the cost or anything.

What do you think? Too bold. I mean, in our discussion of marriage, we discussed being together. So, that's not the issue here. It's just futhering the conversation to a potential agreement on when we would like to get married, etc.

I have tried talking to her about her drinking but she just gets abusive when I do. I thought for a while I had convinced her and she had stopped but yesterday I found a stash of vodka she has been secretly drinking. She doesn't think that she has a problem so what can I do to convince her?

Hi I hope I get some answers that will help me out! I have been married for 5 years and have two wonderful girls. My husband has been verbally abusive as well as emotionally and one time he was physical with me. He keeps me at home and won't let me talk to friends. I didn't realize that this was considered abuse until one of my friends said that I have really changed for the worse and what is going on with me?! My daughters are getting old enough now where they see him constantly calling me names...etc. He can be the most wonderful dad and husband, but he has these "rage attacks" where he just flips out! I love him so much and I have left him once 6 months ago for treating me like this, but had him come back to work things out. Things got better...but now they are getting worse thenthe time before. He scares me and is unpredictable! I have a wonderful friend who wants me and my kids to stay with her and have told family members about this and they think this is bad.....

We first started seeing each other when he was 18, and I was 30. At first it was just sex, but then we fell in love. I was legally separated at the time from my husband. Due to many reasons, the divorce isn't final. It's a long story. My boyfriend and I are so in-love, but our love is forbidden. Not just because of the age difference, but because he is good friends with my stepson. My stepson is a year younger than my boyfriend. I am only 13 years older than my stepson because my ex is 12 years older than me. My stepson would only come around during the summer and on holidays. Throughout the years, I watched him and his friend (who is now my boyfriend) grow up. This is the taboo of our relationship - our neighbors are all older than me and their sons were close friends with my boyfriend. My concern is once the divorce is completely final and my boyfriend and I can date openly, all of our neighbors and my boyfriend's parents will think bad of me and of him. I'm worried we waisted 4 yrs

It was about 9:15 & I told my husband I was going to Gordmans to return some pants & look for some shorts. Well Gordmans closed at 9:30, so after I got my money back I drove to WalMart to look for the shorts & I got home around 11 or so. He had previously been asleep (usually goes to bed btwn 8 or 9), but he woke up to go to the bathroom & that's when I told him I was leaving. He said ok. When I got home, he was still awake & was angry at me. He said "Where have you been?" I said "I ended up going to WalMart to get the shorts, cuz Gordmans was closing when I got there" He said "Jeez, you left at 8" I said "No, I left at 9:15" He just gave me an angry look and kept sighing when I tried talking to him, so I left the room. He eventually shut off his light. I was going to call, but like I said he's usually asleep. I rarely do this. And he doesn't call me when he stops at the bar after work for hours or when he goes out w/ friends and sais he won't be out late & comes home

Our fourth marriage anniversary is coming up. Do you think it is wise to call him up and wish him? I dont know in what state of mind he is in! He has never talked about patching things at all. But before everything closes down I want to give it a single try. Is it wise to do such a thing after all these days of him ignoring me?

If the marriage ends in divorce ,she gets 1/2 his wealth.

Men are egoistic in nature. If a girl wanna protect a relationship, should we become secretive in all accomplisments we achieved/be a little low about it? Shouldn't we be proud of it?

We've been together a total of three years. She's had 4 sexual partners before me. She's was my first sexual partner. Recently I've been insanely jealous of her previous sexual partners. Even though I know she was never serious with any of them, I still seeth inside at the thought of her 'like that' with another man.

I know that she loves me, and that I am the first person she has truly loved. The same if true for me. Love is not a problem, I have no doubts about her affections. I also have no reason to be suspicious, in all the time we've been together she's been nothing but the perfect loving partner.

But I cannot help but think of her having sex with her previous guys she dated, even if she didn't love them. These thoughts have caused some performance anxiety problems for me of late in the bedroom, but I keep thinking that she's had better than me and is much more experienced. She tells me she really enjoys the sex we have...

I'm really confused and need help...

I broke our relationship off in 04', we were apart for 11 mnts, he wld call everyday, except when he was drunk somewhere saying he loved, missed and wanted his fmly back-he is a smart guy great at his job, but when it comes to home life, he puts his frnz and pot b4 d family. i was so tired of it, he promised to stop, which he did for a while! He went back to his old habits rt after we got married.now i think he drinks&smokes more.this wkend he almost had a confrontation w/ my mom, he has never disrespected my parents, he actually told my mom "if i dnt care wt my own mom has 2 say why wld i care about ur opinion"i am so mad! When we got home it turned in2 a big fight &he wntd me 2 choose him or my family-i gnored him then he said he dsnt luv or want me n-e way (we dont have sex often but im ok w/it)now he's sorry!

Okay well I know that I'll be recieving some good and bad advice, hey I need it.
I am involved with a married man for 2 1/2 yrs.
I know Im scum HOME Wrecker all that B>S .
But when it started we were friend's nothing more, as time went by, I noticed he would defend, help, or try to catch my att.
he would then ask if I was ok. I guess just to start a conversation, what Im trying to say is that I was'nt interested, and there was nothing there until he started to chase a younger girl, Im 25 he's 47 lol I know.
I never really looked his way, never had an interest,, until he figured me out, knew what I was attracted to.
Humor, Nice teeth, so our relationship is to weird we are bestfriends, I am so hurt because I knew, but I never thought I could love him, we never argue, and he's everything to me, I finally got the courage up to tell him I was miserable I did'nt want this, but he tricked me, and I dont want to be the cause for a divorce, I need to forget him...its his fault....

some husband don't, and i think is not fair, coz both husband and wife should work out everything together, not just throw everything to the wife with the reason "im tired back from work", some women out for work these day, and they still take good care for the family well and tidy.
