You know that you are a mother of two kids and a wife.Since you love somebody else your husbands addiction to liquor is aproblem for you is'nt it? Okay for the sake of argument let us assume that he is addicted. Is it not your duty to save him from such addiction beinghis lifepartner? What you want to get rid of this man for your love? If your love also starts such addiction in future, will you start lovinganother person? Then what will be the fate of your children? Do have some sense of reality and concentrate on the futureof your children and show some concern to your husband. The love andall will vanish once you become old.

Does "someone" love you?How old are your children? If they have come into a bigger age say about 15 ,you might consider divorce.Perhaps before that, you might like to find out if your husband really love you.If yes,he will be willing to kick away his habits bit by bit.If he don't want to,there's no point going on.To me,children matters more. After all, they will be the victims.
If you remarry, what if their stepfather is bias and treats only his own children well? What if your husband really love you?Go and clarify with him.P.S that "someone"must sacriface a bit for your sake.Vikilion, your words sure is hurtful, not harsh
REMEMBER:be in the children's shoes!!Very important!!!

My husband is a recovering cocaine addict, so I know what you are going through. Get him into some type of rehab facility. The longer he puts off going to rehab to worse his addiction will get. I can tell you that from experience with my husband. He needs to go to a rehab facility for at least 6 months. I would like to suggest Teen Challenge in Greensboro, NC. http://teenchallengeusa.com/greensboro/

This is where my husband is. It is for all types of addiction. It is a Christian Rehab that focuses on the whole family. Teen Challenge has facilities and programs all over the US. They offer free marriage counseling and a free place (like an apartment) to stay with your husband on your counseling weekends. Their cost to attend is very minimal and they will work with you on the money situation. I know of 2 other people that have successfully completed this program and still after 1 year are clean. Teen Challenge is not just for teens, it is for people of all different ages. Please contact them and please feel free to e-mail me if you need to talk. I will be praying for you and your family. I will especially be praying for your husband to be healed.

U are deliberately mixing two issues
A liquor addict can be treated
If u love someone, it is illicit love
It is a sin and adultery
Maybe your husband is liquor addicted
because u are unfaithful

Okay there really isnt enough detail here to sugggest totally what to do but I will tell you, you had those kids they didn;t ask to be born so they come first. Leave pure and simple. DO not run to another guy though, get your own place and get those kids out of this situation. Show them they are first and foremost in your life sorry but the other person has to wait and will if he loves you

Liquor addiction is very irritating to treat as he can abuse you in front of children or in front of everyone without any cause, Keep your mind stable & make your children understand that you are right to have a friend apart from their hon'ble father.

Go ahead!

If your husband was paralyzed from the waist down would you still be called to fulfill your vows in sickness and in health? So why wouldn't you do the same for your alcoholic husband? He's sick and needs help. Forget about the other man and work on your marriage.
