Our fourth marriage anniversary is coming up. Do you think it is wise to call him up and wish him? I dont know in what state of mind he is in! He has never talked about patching things at all. But before everything closes down I want to give it a single try. Is it wise to do such a thing after all these days of him ignoring me?

Honestly, you have been seperated for over a year. You no longer have a relationship, you two need to dedide now if you want to get back together if not get a divorce. Why spend a year married if you can't be with each other. I think I would call and say its our 4th anniversary and we are not together. We need to decide are we one or two. Marriage is not forever sometimes, sadly. Its not fair for either of you to be apart that long. You have to decide if you can do this. If not end it. Over a year you have been seperated thats a long time to have a mate and be lonely. Get the divorce, take some time for yourself, and find someone you can love and live with.

I would not send him an anniversary card, however, I would write him a letter discussing whether you should try again before filing for divorce. I put it to mine this way: "I need to know if there if there is any possiblility of us working out our problems. The reason I need to know is because I have not been able to move on with my life. If you think that we might have a chance, I would like to at least give it one more try. If you have already moved on, then I will begin divorce proceedings, so that I can do the same."

Then continue not talking. An anniversary is just another day when you two haven't been talking anyways.

You'd better call.
