Is my Wife mad in the head?

A few months back, my wife thought she saw a girl checking me out and got mad. I have pretty low self esteem so I thought she was plane insane when she said that. The girl was sort of attractive red head, bit shorter then me wearing a black dress that didn't show anything off really. (I didn't check her out but I glanced over when she pointed her out) But my wife started to cling to me glaring at the girl, the girl didn't seem to really notice.

Was it all in my wifes head? Could a girl that was good looking be checking me out?!

-me- I'm 6'0" 190lbs. toned legs since I walk allot slight pudgy stomach (in clothing I look like a skinny guy that is in okay shape, not fat but not cut). Long Blonde hair, Nordic face (large nose -not balbus- elongated chin, ears the point forward) my arms aren't toned, I can lift allot with them but no bulging biceps type of thing.... basically I look pretty average.

I've honestly never ever even to notice my wife checking me out at all. So, the situation is really really odd for me. I only bring this up cause today she did it again with time with a girl on the buss.

Oh my goodness - I'm sorry, but get over yourself. Who CARES if she was checking you out? You're married. It shouldn't even matter. You shouldn't even be thinking about it to be honest. I know a bit of an ego boost is nice but forget about it.

It's quite possible that it happened just like it is quite possible that it didn't. BUt the real question is why did it bother your wife so much. My guess is that she is a little insecure about it. Next time something like that happens, grab your wife and plant a big, nasty, sloppy one right on the lips. Or pop her on the butt. The point is it doesn't matter which you do as long as you disregard the chick checking you out don't even look if she points it out focus on her. If nothing else, it will make her feel good. Or say somethign along the lines of "Really? I hadn't noticed I was too busy looking at how good your (insert one of her features you like) looks in those (whatever piece of clothing is encasing said body part) and I was thinking that when we get home I could ( insert sexually explicit thing she likes here)" Most likely she'll forget about the gurl and start thinking about your suggestion.

Your wife is jealous.
turn it into a positive thing
bring home flowers and take here out or make a nice dinner
bring her a card and write in it how much u love her and the way she looks
she seems to be a little insecure herself and this will help
keep making comments about how good you think she looks

and by the way its always nice to think someone else is checking you out.

have you ever done anything to make her jealous?

if not, then she's just being insecure or controlling (which is a form of insecurity). obviously you can't control whether someone checks you out, and sometimes you just look at someone without the intention of checking them out. so who knows if this girl was checking you out. point is, your wife needs to stop being so insecure and jealous. tell her that you're with her, and it doesn't matter who checks her out or checks you out because you two are married and that's all that matters. then buy her some flowers and take her out. she'll feel better and drop it....until the next time.

Chances are, she'll never stop being jealous but she's the one you chose to marry. so for betetr or worse right?

A little helpful knowledge? Women notice things that you guys tend to miss. Call it whatever you want, but we especially know a challenge when we see it. It really sounds like something has changed recently though. Maybe you're dressing different or doing you hair different and more women notice,maybe you don't go out with your wife a lot and your just now having to deal with her reactions to other womens' looks, or maybe something happened recently to give her (in her mind) reason to doubt your trustworthyness?Maybe she's going through something that's making her feel insecure? Talk to her about it. It honestly sounds to me like you need more attention from your wife. And work on your self esteem. No one can make you feel good about yourself but you.

And you didn't say anything to your wife counterclaiming what she said? You should have said something like "Maybe she was checking me out but she doesn't have anything on you". I can't believe you just sat there and said nothing, that was stupid.

Girls check guys out all the time, so it's a definite possibility she was checking you out.

Maybe you were hoping she was checking you out. If you have such low self esteem, why would you feel your wife is so jealous? She might have saw you looking and got angry, but mad in the head, no.

Yes, she could have been checking you out. Another thing--she may have thought you looked familiar--like someone she knew or used to know. I also think your wife may be a little protective--or jealous. Good way to have your wife close to your side. lol

Its only human nature to check out the opposite sex. It isn't a crime! LOL Don't let it go to you head however. Maybe she was looking through you. Your wife apparently is feeling a bit insecure. LOOKING does not = cheating!

OK you are married, One good reason people will look two your wife is just as insure as you are she fears that she will loose you if an attractive women comes a long so let her know who you are married to any chance you get also, You are married so your wife has to be attracted to you in order to marry you.
