I have never been like this before, but I have had major mood swings. I have been super depressed, and have been picking fights with my husband. I don't know what's wrong with me. It's kind of scary. What should I do? What could it be?

Go and see your doctor and if needed he/she may recommend some counseling. Are you feeling stressed at all for any reason? Depression is a problem that has to be faced. Seeing a counselor will help.

Remember that your husband loves you and you shouldn't take your frustrations out on him if it has nothing to do with him. It isn't right to take it out on those you love.

Try to do something different in the meantime to relieve your stress and frustration. Try to exercise, go on long walks, write down your feelings in a journal. That sort of thing. Talk to your husband about how you are feeling. I am sure he would be a great source of support. Talk to him about how you feel even if you don't know why you feel like that.

Apologize to him for trying to pick fights. He loves you. Instead try to figure out why you feel that way. Best wishes to you. Hugs to you too.

Geez everyone is throwing wild diagnosis's at you. Pregnant, menopause, what's next tumor's and cancer? Lets try something different. You found your self in a rut and subconsciously you want to break out of it. That's it, that's all. Simple! Listen, the cool thing is that you recognize that your a bit too harsh. So what to do now? I would walk up to your husband and tell him that you know you are going through some mood swings lately and your sorry. Then wink at him and tell him "lets swing the mood this way" and give him the most passionate kiss you've ever given him.

You sound like my girlfriend. She has been picking fights with me for 2 weeks now and she doesn't know why. The only thing that we are thinking is just, possibly pregnancy but shes a bit paranoid to take the test.

She gets mood swing but at the same time she's realizes it and doesnt know why either. It could just be the weather also, like hot flashes

Maybe you're pregnant or maybe you've undergone some recent change in your life that is stressing you out. Have you been on medications? Have you recently stopped taking your meds?
