My friend and her husban have been having serious marital problems, months ago maybe even a year ago, she found an unknown phone number in his cell, she questioned it and he explained it as it begin a number of a guy which he was doing "illegal" dealings with. My friend got upset and demanded his husban to call this individual and tell him that their bussiness was over. It seemed to be over, the husban apologiezed and things went ok for a while. Now everytime that they have any type of issues she accuses him of lying about the number and of having an affair, she never called the number to find out who it was and now the number is disconnected. He comes back accusing her of having an affair becuase she does not want to have sex w/him because she is so upset of what happend a while back. I tell her that she needs to get over it, forgive and forget about it. I honestly dont thing he had an affair, but I see how much this is stressing her. Any tips or advice that might help?

I know how petty this might sound. :) My fabulous husband has developed a habit of buying my Christmas or B'day gift online. When they arrive 2 weeks prior to Christmas or my b'day, he's too impatient and just gives me the gift, with little or no fanfare (unwrapped and without telling me this is my gift). I realize how great it is that I have a husband who will put so much thought into such nice gifts. However, I have explained to him a million times how much I love surprises. I have told him it's not as much fun to anticipate Christmas or my Birthday when I know I won't be opening a gift from him on the day he opens mine (our birthdays are close together. Every year we have a shared party).
How can I convince him that as much as I love these gifts, he is diminishing the experience for both of us? Case in point, he had my gift delivered to the house yesterday and he knows how much trouble i went to not to see it. My party is in one week but he showed it to me this morning.

I had no idea she was illegal until after. But did not take long for me to realize that she tricked me into this whole scenario for a green card. How do you explain that to a child you want nothing but the very best for: I do everything I can to make his place in this world a good one and make sure that he knows undoubtedly that he was no mistake for me. I love my son more than anyone can imagine. How am I going to avoid the realities of his existance? I, along with my wife try to arrange interventions from family therapists and attorneys. My ex will have no part of it. All she wants and continues to use my son for is child support. I am even willing to continue paying if she just allows him to be a boy ..growing up n an already difficult world.

my girlfriend told her best friend that I am very "small". Apparently, they had a good laugh about it and now her friend wants to see me with my pants off. My girlfriend wants to show her, and they asked me if I would show my goods. I'm really embarrassed by this, what should I do?

I have been with my fiancee for seven years total. We are supposed to be married in a couple of months. While she is a good woman who has been with me through up and down, I am afraid of getting married. Early in our relationship she had some problems dealing with people in her past her were bad to her. I helped her work through it but a lot was taken out on me. I never left her because I saw the good. We are doing fine but some of the early spark for me in the relationship left after only a few months. While she is my best friend and I love her and I do not want to hurt her, I am afraid of getting married and feel a lack of a spark towards her. I like being around her but am not extacticly happy most of the time. I never dated much prior to her and do not know if this is something that you normally feel after several years or if this is a major problem. I am usually a romantic but just do not feel that way toward her. She is gung ho on the wedding but I am hesistant. Help.

Why can't I just leave my car there, she can drive around it like she's done for years when she leaves. If I pull out my car into the street for her, isn't there just as much chance of me having an accident?

He said no. But he's been so distant lately. I asked him if he even wanted to be a part of this marriage and all I got was silence. When I asked him about his silence, he said he does want to be with me. Am I missing something here?

My husband has a job that requires him to only go to work when they call him. If he doesn't get called he can stay home. For the last 2 weeks, he's been getting up in the morning and "leaving for work" I'm having a really hard time believing this. Is he really going to work?

I'm a 31 year old school teacher who has been married for 8 years. My wife and i have two daughters, a 4 year old and a 9 month old. I'm a pretty attractive and fit guy, and routinely have to turn down advances by women when I go out with "the guys." However, my wife doesn't have any interest in being physical with me. To be blunt, we haven't had sex in a year and a half. I've even stopped trying, and this really is upsetting to me, because she's a gorgeous woman, and I feel like I'm playing by all the rules, but am not getting any of the benefits of being married. It's like we are just roomates. I've brought it up, but I've gotten tired of being rejected, so nothing has changed. I can't keep my hands off of her, and love to put my arm around her and touch her, but she doesn't even have any interest in seeing me when i come out of the shower. If i walk out of the shower and she's in the room, she doesn't even lower her eyes to catch a peek. What should i do?

When I met my new wife..she did everything in her power to establish a relationship not only with me and my son but had my x over on numerous occssions for breakfast and dinner. This she did so my ex could feel secure about our child being around her by them getting to know each other. My wife also invited my ex to holiday events with my family so that our son not be deprived of any one parent being for holiday events. My wife went above and beyond to make a good and pleasant atmosphere for all of us to partake in this childs world...but my ex always caused disrespectful interrutions at these family gatherings and great discomfort to all our guests. Finally she was asked by me, not my wife, to opt out of our family gatherings. It has been difficult because my ex-wife has never me and felt burdened with our son because he was he result of her ploy for a green card / to get citizenship in the country. She has never wanted to be a mother until my new wife came along..So what do I do?

My husband says he feels like we've been married 25 years and it has only been 10 months. He feels all the spark of the newly married couple is gone already and it was too quick. For some reason he believes it should last a couple years. What do I do? We both love eachother very much...and as far as I can tell nothing has really changed.
The bedroom is not the biggest issue...we do have different sex drives, but we compromise on that. It's mostly just everyday stuff. He is stressed, went back to college, money has been a little tight, but he says he doesn't know what bothers him, he can't put his finger on it. He wished he could figure it out. He says it might not be all me, he just looks at other couples and sees something we don't have which I don't even know if we ever were exactly like that. I'm just afraid if he feels our marriage is boring without all that newness he will eventually want to leave! We are bored with our small city and w/limited income we can't afford much!

Any clues on how to deal with my husband's fears. He is obsessed with 1. Viruses (nearly everyone who comes to the house has a "virus". 2. Drafts/cold air causing aches in his joints (closes every door and window). 3. Catholicism - nearly every conversation turns to this subject. Warning people about the fact that it is evil. Thanks, M.
