Sell it!
I'm not married or divorce but this is what I would do with it!
Who wants a reminder of their failure?

I was married to my ex-husband for only 4 years. We were very much in love before the wedding and he spent $2000 on the wedding set. Then, after the wedding, he isolated me at home, wouldn't let me work and constantly terrorized me, my kids and his kids. When I finally left him, I took my engagement ring and through it into the bushes at the local Taco Bell drive through. It gave me a great deal of pleasure and someone found a really nice ring. Oh, and I gave the band back to him a few weeks later and told him what I did with the other ring.

I had 2 sets.I had it COURT ORDERED that the rings would be put in a safe for the girls when the are getting married or old enough to understand the symbolic meaning behind the rings.

If it's worth something, I suggest pawn it or if you want to keep it as a souvenir, I suggest you place it in a keepsake box.
I would rather pawn the ring and at least feel, I got something of value out of my marriage.
Just kidding, see worth the ring is worth if you have no other use for it.

Well i have to say that i kept it because it was mine.... it was a gift at the time. so why should i give it back.... in that case give me back all of those things that i brought for you....
mind you my daughter is 11 years old
what i have plan to do with my ring is to give it to our daughter when she is 18 and the second part will be given to her when she is 21 ... i will have a very big 21year old party and that will be the gift that i plan of giving her...
Other than that i could of pawned it and got a whooping 5,000 big ones for it.... i think that im nice about keeping it....

I pawned my rings after my divorce. Didn't want to be reminded
of him.

I still have it. It was a pretty cheap set but is gold none the less so if ever needed I suppose it could be sold for the weight of gold.

I took it off and put it away BEFORE the divorce. Really can't tell you at this time where it is at.

It all depends on how you feel about it. There are many options, you can pawn it, sell it, give it away as a present, keep it, or you can always give it to a trustworthy charity.
