Marriage & Divorce - 21 August 2006

i'm married w/ 2 kids, i'm 23 now & my husband is 28. i would say that he's not mature enough to take on the responsibility as the head of the family. he still goes out with his buddies, which is fine with me, but sometimes it tends to get frequent. he was actually going out last night but i didn't want him to go, coz he just left last Thursday, & our youngest daughter fractured her arm, & i basically want him home for paternal support. i want to see him care somehow. now he says i don't want him going out, that i'm putting a leash around his neck, that i'm trying to run his life. was i wrong in this?

Wife & I got back together recently after she had had an affair. My family are not too happy about this. How can I convince them to give her another chance? I know they have my interests at heart, but this is meant to be a happy time for me, yet I can't stop worrying about my family's reaction.

I met a guy i loved deeply, but he disapointed me. that was like 12 yrs ago. 2 yrs later he go married n so did i. we lived in different towns and 10 years later, we met (last year) and the feelings are still the same. we love each other but cannot be together coz we are both married. i told him to forget about me since i was ready 4 an affair but hes too scared. my real question is why wont he late me go? we talk alot on the phone but rarely see each other and he keeps saying he loves me. we both have 2 kids. what should i do? hes the only man i ever loved. should we divorce our partners?

Here's the deal. Before we met, my wife bought a car. (Married 1 yr) She does not know much about cars at all, and bought a car with over 150 K miles on it and spent about twice what it's worth. She borrowed money from her parents for the car, and has not paid much of it back. Since I have known her, collectively we have spent $2k more on parts and repairs. The problem is, she likes the car. It's a total POS, but she likes it anyhow. I am a very straight forward kinda guy, and have told her what I think of the car. I was nice, but she knows my opinion of the whole situation. We live comfortably, but are not wealthy. Bottom line, we need to stop pouring more money into a vehicle that was undependable when it was new and continues to break down. I have a car note on a newer vehicle, and inherited a dependable car when my Mom died earlier this year, so transport is not an issue. How do I talk to her so that she will listen, and not hurt her feelings.

I have 3 children, my eldest is not to my current partner. As my partner and I are un-married they all have my sur-name.
I want to marry my prtner but my eldest really doesn't want to change her name, she is a minor, I don't want to force her as I think she's been through so much recently. Does anyone know if she could keep her name if me and my other kids take their fathers name in mariage?
