I have been married for 4 years. My husband has an addiction problem but is trying really hard to beat it. What can I do to assist him everyday and especially on days that he fails?

i got married when i was young at 18 yrs, got 2 kids from a man who later died,from him thou i found him with 2 boys as well and had separeted with thier mum, but when he died, the parternal relatievs denyed my own 2 girls and took up the 2 boys of my late husband n we were traditionally married. i took life easy n moved on,left the small town where i leaved n went to the big city with my kids n met this other guy whom i fell madly in love with thou he was too much of mum boy, we got lots of breakups n make ups n later married and wedded in church, had a cute son with him n when our son was just 14 mths only he cheated on me with another woman n left me all alone with the kids, i couldnt stand the high bills i gave him his son, now its comg to 2yrs of separatn n we signed seperatn legal papers n have been dating this other one whom we a mad at each other n doesnt mind abt my kids n wants to have 2 babies wit me,can i marry him?? i love him alot thou my family may make noise abt my men.

My husband left our house 10 days ago, 8 months after I discovered he was having an affair. He said the affair was an error of judgement and shouldn't have done it, but I am not sure if he has ended it. He said he was leaving because he needs to be alone as all his life he has had responsibility and duty, to his mother and sister who live in Turkey and to me and our 16 year old daughter. He is now 41 so when is he going to do what HE wants? He now lives in a flat which he purchased. He has phoned us everyday since he left and came to the house both sundays since. He takes me out for a coffee like he has done every sunday for the last 8 months and gives the impression he is coming back. My daughter finds this arrangement destressing as she doesn't want to see him. Should I follow him to find out about other woman? This would help me to break free, daughter says NO, I should just end this once and for all, friends say he comes because of his half of the house, I am so confused.

i been together with my daughters father for 14 years and i have forgave him for alot of things he has done to me. he cheated on me and got a diease, he would hit me, now after all these years he tells me that i make him sick and he can't stand looking at me. five years ago we got married and it got worse. he would push me away and tell me things that would hurt me.

Well considering the traditional approach by the people, husband is always considered to be elder and wife younger. Even the age gap of 5-6 years between husband and wife is valid but if wife is one years older than husband. It may create a big havoc in Indian society thinking. I want to ask you what do you think can be thephysical, emotional, psychological & social persectives behind the age gap of husband & wife.
Does it creates any disturbance if husband is 25 and wife is 30.

This is one of my top reasons for why i don't wish to have my own child.
We all know the world is such a hard place, so why do it?
My mental life has been hard for me. since i wasn't raised in poverty..everyone from a 3rd world country will laugh at me, saying i know nothing of a hard life. But i speak of mental/emotional challenges too. I know my life isn't that hard at all. it's a luxury to some of course.
Whenever i see a newborn i may feel sorry for it. I know that newborn will have a harder time in that new society to come than i have had. Don't you think they'll experience probably worse physical or emotional problems in their life than you will? And yes, that is part of life, so then why procreate at all? All i'd want to do is love that child, but i guess i mean love without the real world discipline..which they say isn't love. I want to see my offspring never suffer, never frustrate, never contemplate suicide, never be lonely. (yes i know i'm idealistic)

A married friend of mine has been feeling frustrated and unable to get the kind of sex she needs at home. Her husband regards a mild kink as too much for him, and won't discuss it any further. So she's stepped outside of her marriage to get 'the sex of a lifetime', without telling her husband. She intends to stay married to him, because in every other respect they have a good marriage, and also to maintain a no-strings sexual relationship outside the marriage.
