Men have been doing that since the begining of time. You would be trying to supress a natural process. It would not be respectful for you to gawk and make a scene when your wife/gf is at your side but you can peek tactfully. There is nothing wrong at all although women will try to convince you that you should not be looking. Only one person can control the gray matter between your ears and that is you, not no woman. Well, it depends on who you ask.

Being a married person who made a commitment before God, I go to His Word.

It says that if a man looks at a woman in lust, he has already committed adultery in his heart.

Then I consider my family. They would be hurt and disappointed.

Even if you don't want to, you're going to look. It's just human nature to admire an attractive person of the opposite sex (or the same if you're gay). The only key is not to be too obvious. Show some respect for your lady and keep the jaw off the floor and the drool in your mouth. And of course, no comments. Despite what she says, she looks too. She just may not realize it.
