If you have enough money to want a pre-nup, why would you be asking here???? Something is wrong with scenario, or you have a misunderstanding of what a pre-nup is. They are written to protect assets built by one or the other PRIOR to the marriage. Typically, if a divorce were to occur, and you can PROVE your assets before the marriage, they are not included in the divorce settlement, but not always and in all states.

DON'T GET A PRE-NUP, you'll never have a happy marriage. Or if you insist on it, make sure there is a clause that says it is null and void if you have children or are married for 10 years.
