Hi. I've been married for 5 years. I have one child and pregnant with another. 5 years ago I knew my husband wasnt as good looking physically as other guys I've dated but he treated me great and we seemed to get along so well so I thought he was the one. Now his teeth are yellow, he's gained 20 pounds, his hairy chest (never liked it) is all gray, he has horrible table manners, is a slob when eating ,dresses even worse then when I married him even though I didnt think it wa spossible, is cheap, and I am so lost. Is it because I feel gross about myself? I tried talking to him and he is now not talking to me. I tried the sweet way of offering white strips, buying clothes, and giving him time for the gym but not working. Ugghh. I just want to be semi- attracted to him again even but he comes near me and I want to push him off me.

I like this guy who just recently went through a divorce, so he's not ready to get too involved with anyone. He and I have been very close friends for about 7 yrs now. I'd like to get more involved with him but not too sure how to do it. He's rather old fashioned, which is a nice change of pace. There are a few things this man loves...Boating, fishing, and his dog. I've asked him to take me fishing, cause it is something I would really like to learn how to do. I've asked him to take me boating, I've even brought treats for his dog. Yet he still won't take me fishing or boating. I'm not asking him for a date, I'm asking him, as my friend, to do these things with me. Something tells me he's scared, really scared, and I'm not sure why. Any suggestions. And before any of you say I must be fat, ugly or bad in bed...I am none of those. :)

Ok here is how it is......I told my husband it was over two years ago. After a traumatic time I stuck to it and it was over. However last april we got back together. It seems we have not changed and the same things still annoy us. I am not with out fault I am sure but he lies all the time right down to when he will be back he has his own place so he can walk out at anytime when he has had enough of family life. his "Sanctuaty" according to him.(Lucky him) I feel angered by this, I envy his freedom. He can go out when he likes yet is I want to go out it is a big deal. I feel trapped again as i did before. He drinks everynight but has cut down to four cans a night which is a step in the right direction.
He barely helps out around the house and he does practically live here. I feel low and not very motivated when i am with him. he does nothing for my self esteem. I have spoken to deaf ears. Should I open my eyes and call it a day for the both of us? he has a good job and works away alot

Been reading about that weirdo who claims to have killed Jonbenet Ramsay, he married a girl aged 14 in Alabama. My wife says in a lot of southern states it is legal to marry at that age - surely this can't be true in this day & age?

He has lied to me about so much. I could have gotten an annulment instead of divorce because of his lies. This has really hurt me and I am afraid I won't recover from this easily.

31 year old male, married almost 2 years masturbates on a regular basis.
My question is why?
Do you think his wife doesn't satisfy him?
Could it be because someone else turns him on that he can't have?
Don't men prefer the real thing to their hand?
Help me understand this. Thanks

I chatted with a guy from Egypt and he was very nice but asked if I would pay his way to me and after that he would finance me and my kids. I said that he should try to find someone where he lives.

My aunt is getting married for the second time. She is in her forties, him in his fifties. they both have grown children and are quite well-off, so really don't need any of the traditional wedding gifts.

So my question is, what do I get them for a gift? I am quite a bit younger than them, so giving a monetary gift would be inappropriate. Any ideas???

I have been married for 6 years. We have been together for nearly 10 years. We have a 3 year old son. He is an excellent father, and a very hard worker, both around our home and at the job. I am still hot and turned on by him and he is still hot for me.

Here's the problem. He won't quit smoking pot. It affects his emotional state of mind. If he is without it for a day he screams at me over little things in front of our son. The last big argument he demanded I get out of the car and pulled over. I got out and then my son began screaming for me to get in as he took off. He did come back a few minutes later because our son was hyperventalating. We cannot have business discussions about our future goals, the checkbook, etc without him flying off the handle emotionally. He has been diagnosed with obsesive compulsive behavior and does not want to live on medication.
I used to smoke pot with him in the past. It is just this last year I have decided to be quit and be all I can be.

First off, I hate the word cheat & I would rather hear someone say that they were in a marriage and tied down to a family without being in love with their husband (or wife ). To me there is little difference between having children with someone you aren't married to and sleeping with another man (That seems to be okay) Vs. Sharing a house with someone you have children with and sleeping with another man (which makes you a whore).
Remember when we were single and trying to hook up with every good looking man we saw?
Then there is the sad fact of life that your husband (or wife) was the one who stood in front of God (as you put it, not every marriage happens in a church) and made promises that they couldn't keep. So you're saying that we just suck it up and be happy being $hit on day after day.

Remember there's kids and BOTH are the parents.

Sorry but I'm a bit fed up with some of the holier than thou questions and answers, most from people who will change in time? Comments?
