Let your fingers do the walking. Look one up in your area. Make an appointment for a free consultation. Select several lawyers to consult with then make your decision. Pick the one you feel most comfortable with. I would make an appointment with at least 3.

Your choice is determined by how much you stand to lose in the divorce...a common divorce where there is a 50/50 split, no children...the least expensive one you can find. If you have kids, you better hire a good one, or you will be taken to the cleaners on child support, whether you or the other is keeping the children. Usually, courts have a certainl minimum level of child support, but if you all have money, be sure the rates will be higher. Good luck

I don't know. I just went through this myself. Chose one from the phone book that had free first consultaion. Set up an interview decided they would be a good choice and hired them. If I wouldn't of agreed with them on the initial 1st visit I would of called a different one until I found one I felt understood the situation and was easy to work with. I had a limited time to decide if you have time set up interviews with more than one and decide which is best for your circumstances.

Yeah, we need a "price grabber" for legal services.

Since there is none for the time being, you need to look up in yellow pages (I'd not recommend online search, fake and cheap stuff all over the web), pick 5 (range the grades wisely). Call, set up consultation (for some they charge you, usually the expensive ones), get yourself well-prepared with tough questions, you'll see the difference. Then you'll be able to pick your ideal one.
