keep giving him advice even though my hubby is ticked that he hasn't confided in him? I think it's great that he has found someone to confide in I never expected it to be me but atleast it's one of us should I help him out or tell him to talk to his brother instead of me?

I have to say my stepsister is the coolest girl I've met in a long time. Our parents got married about six months ago after dating for only about four months. I didn't even meet my new sister until the wedding. We were kind of thrown into this whole new life together. Both of us were unhappy with the present situation and spent most of our time complaining to each other, and through that we really got to know each other. She's gorgous and she just carries herself right. I want to act on every feeling, but don't know what others might say. But I'm going crazy. Is it so wrong to like her?

First of all my family is divorced. I have always gone to my dad's side Christmas Eve. My fiance also celebrates Christmas Eve with his family. Every year we end up spending so much time at mine, we miss most of his. This year is his nephews first christmas and would like to be there for that, but my family gets so upset if I don't spend the hole time with them! I've tried to meet in the middle by having it at our house, have it earlier anything but my family won't budge! Advice?

I divorced my husband. He couldn't keep a job, he would pawn my things and ran up bills that he refused to pay. He was hot tempered and destructive when he got mad. He would punch holes in the walls, break doors and windows and hit me. He'd damage my car, he would smash the hood and rip off the mirrors and I got tired of it. I tried talking to him and he would promise to change but he never did so I divorced him.
My mother makes negative comments to me all the time. She told me she knew a woman who's husband left her and the woman died because she was so sad that her husband left her. I got my hair styled and lost weight and go to a chiropracter because of back problems and my mom told me well just look at you now, you really think you're someone special don't you? I had told her I was thinking of selling my house and maybe buying a condo and she told me, "What are you trying to do, be like Rose? Rose is a woman we both know that bought a condo over 25 years ago. What is going on?

my dad recently had something very valuable stolen from him (a truck) and the lady who took it is mentally ill. he got it back. we live in a very safe neighborhood, nothing ever gets stolen, everybody is happy, that was just a one time thing. it's just that, my dad wants to get a gun, and i would feel very uncomfortable at his house if he has one. what should i do??

I'm 15 ok, and my mom doesn't let me do nothing! She works 2 jobs and is never home. I think she needs a man and maybe she wouldn't be a b***h! The problem is she won't let me go to a weekend thing wit my friends cause guys are there. I'm tire of her sh*t and am thinkin about calling social services on her so I can't live her and will be able to go to the parties. My dad is dead (that's why she works so much) so I will have to go to my grandma's who will let me go....what should i do?

I have a 2 year old daughter. She was born in my hometown Chicago IL, Her mother is originally from California. Her mother and I split and she went back to Cali with my daughter and put child support on me. I havent seen my daughter in almost a year. Her mother is holding a grudge because of the break up. As Part of child support I have to put her on my insurance plan. I tried to get IL HMO but it wont cover her in california. So they are forcing me to get Blue cross insurance for more money. Is there a legal or less expensive way to put her on my insurance.

(Insurance for all childreen in iL is manditory. They are trying to get as many people off the government assisted insurance in IL. by making fathers put the childreen on there insurance plan. But my child is not even in IL)

in some relative's property they dont like that business..they told my dad but he wont listen to anyone not even to our family people ...it created a huge problem in my family and i'm also affected indirectly by the problem...i feel sad and disappointed ...as my dad is not listening handing over the key of that property may be the solution.....i'm depressed ....i am helpless ...please some one help

my step mum h8s me she calls me all sorts of names(im not sayin what) but she makes me feel really bad and ugly. She has children with my dad and shes horrible to my dad to.Weve tried to move out but the council wont house us! Anyway my dad also wants to stay with her because of their children. My rooms even been taken away frm me 2 use as a junk room.The thing tht gets 2 me is me & my step mum used 2 get on b4 my bro n sisters were born.My sister thats 7 also treets me like dirt + hits me.My stepmum treats us like slaves.Im 13 n feel like my lifes over. My parents are seperated, not divorced. He has a new partner and everytime my lil brother and me go visit him, they are all over each other. This bothers me. Makes me not want to visit him cause it makes me uncomfortable. I just feel hurt cause I remember when my mom and dad were like that.

I can accept he has moved on, but can't they like be lovey-dovey when we are not there?

her he takes her out of state and all these places and I never know where she is and he won't tell me when he does this, is he allowed to do whatever he wants with her? He has even kept her out of school to go on vacation without letting me know.

my brother and i are very close hes is 16 and im 19...i don't live at home any more by choise but my brother and i still talk almost every day...he has been dating his girl for alittle over 3 months when i asked if they had sex yet he said no but did everything else and he promised to tell me if they had sex
after we talked about it for a while...i told him to be safe etc etc

but my moms new thing is to bug me and him about his sex life ( she never did that to me when i was his age)
she keeps asking me if i know anything what are they doing etc...how do i tell her to butt out i don't want to rat out my brother cuz he really isn't doing anything wrong and he would never rat me out

Ok me and my boyfriend's mom got into a fight from which we made up and everything is fine I guess now.

But yesterday my boyfriend left to go to his friends house and his mom and aunt were over. (Note: His great grandma also lives with us and is in the process of moving out, thats why his mom and aunt were over)

So anyway, I went into our bedroom and closed the door and took a nap. I had the covers over my head and I heard a voice. So I wake up to his mom going through his drawers. Im like, what are you doing? And she tells me she is looking for something she gave to him. So I call him and it ends up what she gave him, he has with him.

He is 28 yrs old and his mom doesnt live with us...What would make her so disrespectful that she comes in the room while im sleeping and starts going through our stuff? What can I do?? Me and his mom's relationship is already fragile seeing we just got over a fight. What should I do? I hate confrontation and will avoid this if at all possible. Help!

We have 2 small kids and are thinking about more. We've considered money, stress, etc. My main concern is whether this will benefit my current kids by having more siblings or hurt them by having more siblings. I would like to hear from people with lots of siblings. Did you feel like you didn't get enough "individual" attention growing up? Or did you really love having a big family? I only had one sister and always thought more siblings would have been great. Any input or ideas for bigger families would be appreciated.

I was always told never to ask why me. If God intended for me to know everything then I would be up there with Him. Yet I cannot help but ask. Nothing seems to be going good in my life right now. I went from having money and a stable life to pennies just by choosing the wrong partner. One person ruined my life or what was my life. I am struggling all the time... I cannot remember the last time I was happy as an individual. Not a mother or daughter or sister. My family treats me like the plague. My only sister doesn't want to have any type of meaningful relationship with me. SHe has a life of her own, and my parents well my mom and I arent close at all. My father , he isnt around much....

The boy is now 24, the girl 22, great kids. I was a somewhat strict parent and both have some resentments, though never got in an serious trouble. But last week I got to know that in 2000 my girl got involved w/ a bad crowed, drank and joined them in grafiting a wall and breaking a window. When she realized what she had done she asked my boy help. They got along, he had some money, they paid for the damages and nothing happened. They didn't tell us. As soon I as I got to know, I talked to my son, I was mad and disappointed. He just said he decided no tell us, because he was sure that was just a moment of insanity her sister went through and she regretted. In fact she never mesed up again and he thinks it was a very mature decision. In his opinion, igf I had known, I'd be harsh, wouldn't trust the girl, she's kinda sensitive and would suffer for nothing. He's sure that would have destroyed our relationship forever. Im mad, I feel betrayed, but my son is sure he did the best thing.

There's a rumor floating around my family, that I'm bisexual-which is not true. & for our birthday, I gave my twin sister a card & money, & the card was a kitten giving another kitten a birthday present, & she didn't speak t me for a long time, & she thought I sexually wanted her. What is wrong with her? & then she said my brother brainwashed her into thinking that. I have a friend who's BI, but I'm heterosexual. They think I'm BI, too but I'm not. My brother tried to convince her to think I wanted her to do a 3-some with me & my friend. Why is my family so sick-minded like that? I'd never think of doing something like that. & after she told me that, she kept calling me all day, trying to waste my cell phone minutes on purpose, just to waste my time. Why does my family keep trying to hurt me by lies & rumors? & my twin sister falsely accused me of trying to murder & molest her kids & my brother also thinks I sexually want him, but he also kept ringing my phone off the hook.

my mother isnt open minded about anything she doesnt know or hasnt done herself basically if she hasnt done it she thinks its wrong like i was talking to her about adoption and she is totally against it she said she believes in god but i dont see how thats against god because adoption is giving people who cant have kids a chance to enjoy parenting. That and my brother is gay and he has tried to tell her and i know that may be against god but she doesnt beleive people can be gay she keeps saying he doesnt know what he is talking about. That and she thinks everybody but her family are bad people she always has negative things to say about everyone and its really getting to me cuz i love my mom but i dont think she is being very christian how could i help her to open her mind and enjoy life instead of being so closed up to what she doesnt and who she doesnt know

I’m a little annoyed with my husband and his brother right now. Our son’s will be making their 1st communion early next year and his brother and wife want the boys to receive it together at our church (they live out of state) to kill 2 birds with one stone. We did this for their baptism’s, which sounded great on paper, but it presented problems for us because of family dynamics. For starters, my in-laws are divorced so we had to opt for a big out door party because they can’t stand to be in the same room together so this acted as a buffer, when his brother and his family flew in, they expected us to put them up and her in-laws, we paid for most of the celebration, my house was trashed because it rained on the day of the baptism and my toilets backed up due to the large volume of users in the bathroom. I don’t want to go through this again. I just want my son to have his own special day separate of his cousin’s and have a small family dinner at nice restaurant instead of the chaos I know will ensue if I go along with the plans everyone else wants. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Can you please help me, there is this people who is also staying on my bf's dads farm, we are renting and they are just living there cause the guy is working for my bf's dad on the farm. This guy's girlfriend is starting a new job today, but they always come and lend food or rice or sweets of something, and my bf says nothing he just gives it to them, i also doesn't get a big salary and im 19 but working for a year now. The guy and his girlfriend is 38 and 47, but they keep on lending things from us, and im getting tired. What must i do? I feel like the welfare or something? If i were the welfare i would help little children not adults that can look after themselves. Help please... Thank you

I have never been close with my father but he is a great guy. He has lived in a different state for as long as i can remember and i've never realy needed him or felt obligated to build and maintain a relationship with him. I'm 26 and i have so much going on in my own life that when i get home at night he is the last thing from my mind. About avery six months or so he calls me and has a way of making me feel guilty for not making an effort to keep in touch. When ever i'm with him i have a blast. I see so much of my self in him but i just dont have the desire to have him as a part of my life. Am i a dick or am i just trying working on my carrier and build a family and have fun with friends? How do you tell someone with so much guilt for never being there that you have never needed them?
