I'm 27, recently divorced and just started dating again. My best friend of 19 years who has been dating the same guy for 12 years told me that I can't date a guy that she has had a "secret crush" on for the past couple of months. Is it fair for her to tell me that I can't date him? I think it would make sense if she was single...he would be off-limits if she liked him, but he liked me. Is this something that I have to deal with while dating as an adult? I think it sounds very childish, but I don't want to hurt her feelings either. What should I do??

I'm from chennai.One girl love me.Then i also love her.But she refuse me for her parents.She is three month pregnant.But her friends are give her wrong advice that abort baby and marry your parents choice.She also accept their advice.Her uncle is police,so that he threatened me.He said that he will kill me.But i dont know whether her uncle know that she is pregnant or not.Both are major.she said if one girl thing means she can do anything.But u cant do like that.I will keep contact with anyone then leave him and marry someone.If one boy cheat any girl means law will punish him severely but for girl? I'm ready to leave her but she will spoil more person life in this society.For that wat we can do? Her uncle is in police means she can do anything? wat is the solution for this? shall i take any legal action? any possibility is there? Her uncle is in police

Is it ok to let my neighbour flirt with my wife?
My neighbour continually hits on my wife. When we are together he continuously stares at her. At first she didn't notice anything, I told her about it and she said she would watch to see if he was doing it. After a month or so went by with this going on, I have noticed that she has started to flirt back with him. At first it was pretty innocent, like giving each other hello and goodbye kisses. Now she allows him to make comments that are somewhat sexual in nature. I find that they are somewhat leading comments. My wife's comments are not leading but somewhat of a flirting nature. I have expressed my concern that I'm not comfortable with this! She allows him to talk about what a MILF she is and say other crude things, but she thinks its funny and not a big deal. My wife has no interest in him, she says. I am sure she finds it flattering, but it is drives me crazy. She feels that I'm overreacting and that it's harmless. I tell her it is not appropriate for him to talk to a married woman like that, she says I am way to jealous about this and it is my own problem. I totally trust her but I feel he has other motives! I don't know how to get that across to my wife without getting her mad at me.

My mother just passed on Nov 10th and had little life insurance.She only had enough to cover about 1/5 of the costs.My mother in law has asked numerous times about the costs and such .I have told her over and over again.She just keeps up about my brothers helping witht he costs and stuff.I feel that that is between us and whatever happens happens.I am not sure how it will all pan out,Im not sure if they will h elp like they said they would or not but i keep telling her she is my mother and i gave her teh funeral she deserved.I just buried her a week ago and i just wish my mother in law would let up and let me get over her death without worrying about teh costs right now.If it akes 10 yrs it takes 10 yrs to pay it off..

What should i do about her questioning.. I dont want to caus problems with her and i;m not sure what to do

I live with my boyfriend and two other people... I am primarily the one working right now *two just started their jobs, and my bf is going to school* so I have been working about 45-55 hours a week in order to make sure that we can pay our rent. Every night, they are always loud when I am trying to go to sleep. I have asked them to be quiet, and they normally are for 5-10 minutes, and then they are loud again. I hate telling them every night that they have to be quiet, but I am only getting about 3 - 4 1/2 hours of sleep every night! I have an hour drive one way to work, and i'm afraid im gonna be so tired im going to fall asleep driving to work. How do I make them be quiet so I can sleep??????

My fiance, whom I was with for 4 years broke up with me in June. Needless to say, I was madly in love with her and completely devastated from the breakup, I was not expecting it at all. We tried to stay friends during the summer, but she got EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. She told me not to contact her, and that she would contact me when she was ready to talk. Three and a half months have gone by since I had heard from her at all. Recently I have been receiving calls or text messages from her in the middle of the night either sobbing or just wanting to chat with me saying that she misses me. Even during the day I get text messages that are actually lengthy and very friendly as compared to her one-word texts that I received during the summer, I spoke to her on the phone last night and she seemed like her old slef, she was laughing and very friendly, and told me to call her this weekend . I REALLY MISS HER, , do you think she wants to starting reconcile?. How Do I handle this?

My other daughters are 10 years and 4 years old and my wife is 6 months pregnant. I have a full time maid such that currently she is on bed rest and doing nothing in as far as house chores are concerned. She has never met the girls before and I have a four bedroomed house so there is plenty space.

All women out there tell me exactly why. Most man can stay with the kids of her wife from a past marriage and why are most women not comfortable if its the man's kids from a past marriage. I find this very strange and heartbreaking.

My boyfriend and i have been together for 2 years now, and I have never hung out with his sister and had a pleasant time. She is 26 years old and SO spoiled, she is constantly bringing up his ex-girlfriends around me, comparing me to them. Cutting me down at any chance she can get, even saying things about my clothing and accessories. I have tried to ignore her, i've tried to have my boyfriend tell her how I feel, i've even said things to her parents, and it's to a point where her chances with me are UP. My and my boyfriend gave up going to Thanksgiving with my family because I didnt want to go see his family (in efforts to avoid HER) and when we made alternate plans, I got excited and now I found out last night she is going to be there. This is going to be my boyfriends aunts house so again I will not be in my element, and i'll feel forced to be kind to her. HOW DO I DEAL WITH SOMEONE WHO's MAIN focus is honestly to make me miserable... Especially on a holiday in someone elses home

we have been married for 8 years, together as high school sweethearts, he chose alcohol over me and our 2 children. Became verbally and emotionally abusive and after a few times of physical abuse , There was an order of protection put into place, that he continued to violate, so he has been incarcerated for 8 months. Throughout this time, i have filed for divorce and he has been served his papers, he has continued to write to me, stating how much he loves me and wants me and that he will not accept our divorce. i have given him our home and moved out. He will be realeased from jail next week and im just scared to see how desperate he is and what he will do. can anyone give me advise please........anyone dealt with this before

I have been dating a wonderful man for almost 2 years. I love everything about him but something is getting in the way. I am 36 and still cute ,he is 42 and in great shape. I hate the way he dresses most of the time. He is stuck in the 80's, He wears Bill Cosby sweaters and stonewashed jeans.Even owns a leather Bugs Bunny jacket!! It makes me want to run and hide. It is embarassing. He has other clothes from Express and even Target that are contemporary and what people wear today. I don't know what to do. It is a hard thing to bring up because do not want to be mean to him, but he never gets my hint. Even when we go shopping together or I suggest cleaning closets. I want to be with him, but this is seriously effecting how attracted to him I am. I sometimes find myself in "friend mode". Please share.. and no offense, but no kids please. I am being serious about this. I would like to hear from those in adult aged relationships. I don't want to break up, but this is driving me away.

after watching a few of his services, and reading up a little about him, I'm convinced he's more of a counseling people advocate than a 'preacher'.... his message is upbeat, and psychologically great for people to hear, since it's more about you getting yourself what you need than 'god' handing it to you for good works.... he's really got it down to a science, that of telling folks what makes them feel good about themselves.... even going so far as telling women to shop at Victoria's Secret to help their marriages be happier!....

I swear after I meet a girl we'll be talking (online mostly), everything will be going great, we'll be exchanging stories and laughs and memories and then she'll say something like, "You crack me up!" and i'll say "Well, i'm glad I make you laugh! You do have a pretty smile!" and then i'll go back to whatever it was we were talking about, but after that things are never the same usually. Either the girl seems to steer clear of me or the conversation dies out suddenly, but if I don't compliment a girl they seem to respond more to that. Why is this?

There is a waiter i have acrush on i am too shy to approach him because of my conservative ways ,i am a open minded person ,however when it comes to guys i become a little old fashioned and believe its their role to make the inital move .my friend alredy left her number on the bill for the other waiter and he unfortunately has a girlfriend ,i guess i dont want to look silly as this is my first time at this ,and i guess seeing my friend has approached the other waiter i dont want ot to look childish .he seems interested but i guess because he is at work there is only so much he can do .Guys and girls any advise would be good .

is it really true im emo or is my friend just crazy....
How I spend my day:
-wake up and lie in bed for half an hour and think about people i miss in my life and think about what I did wrong and eventually cry
-go take a shower
-go hang out with friends at the mall or the beach or somewhere....
-login to msn
-chat with friends (who think i'm emo)
-shut down computer
-watch mtv
-eat dinner
-log on to messenger again
-log off and go to lie down in bed
-listen to my mp3 player
-and eventually fall asleep and then the day starts again...

so what do you think???
