There is a waiter i have acrush on i am too shy to approach him because of my conservative ways ,i am a open minded person ,however when it comes to guys i become a little old fashioned and believe its their role to make the inital move .my friend alredy left her number on the bill for the other waiter and he unfortunately has a girlfriend ,i guess i dont want to look silly as this is my first time at this ,and i guess seeing my friend has approached the other waiter i dont want ot to look childish .he seems interested but i guess because he is at work there is only so much he can do .Guys and girls any advise would be good .

well you can either play the mind game with him... the whole staring... obsessing every detail or sign as a possiblity or whatever.. or u can get a straight answer and closure.. and by that, that would mean that you would have to get up the courage and tell him how you feel, call his name and ask if he has a minute.. then tell him straigt up that you like him alot.. and see how it goes.. if he gets scared or whatever and runs.. hes too imature for ANY relationship... if he mans up and tells u a straight answer back... whether it be "ya i like you too" or "im not intersted in you, your not my type" then just take the answer good or bad and walk away with no regrets... whether u get the guy or not.. at least u tried and u are not one of the 10000 00000 girls out there who ends up regretting the chance and thinking of could have beens or what ifs...
i go by this motto "if you dont risk you get swallowed up by life"... its your choice... u can sit there and wait for something to happen... or you can make something happen by getting up and doing it! dont live your life with regrets...
think of it as closure... for u to move on with your life... with or without him... its the only way...

Well I'm Kinda like that too, but I'm trying to overcome it. the only way I've found to do that is to jump right in. If you don't try you will never know, If you come out looking childish and I don't think you will so what youll get over it . Good Luck

well.. u gotto try no matter what.. and theres always a first time.. if he has a girlfren or what.. at least u know that hes attached and not hold any more hope.. what i say is u shud try.. if ur too shy too.. get ur friend to help u.

you already answered your own question.... you realize that you are too shy and conservative to go get him and you believe that he should make the first move..... well things dont always fall in your lap.... if you want get up and go get it..... so if you want him..... YOU have to go get him
