What gives...husbands...pressure...come on now, you're joking right? Being a husband has got to be the simplist thing on the planet, not even an infant has it so good! (even single men have it harder!).

I am exhausted by my kids. They are 1 & 4 and I never imagined being a single mom. I am working my *** off and barley making it....in fact currently we dont have running water cause I couldnt make the bill. When my ex left he left alot of debt. Its hard and I have family help but bottom line is...I dont think I am a good mom. I cant even provide for them. I dont have much joy or tolerance for them. I put on a great front for them but really inside I hate being a mom. I didnt always feel this way. Im not trying to be selfish but seriously I work so hard and nothing seems to add up. They deserve better than me. I love them but I suck. Everyday I think of running away or giving them to my family. I no I am horriable but does anyone understand?

I'm a wedding photographer, so I of all people shouldn't have this opinion, but I feel large, fancy, expensive weddings cheapen marriage.

In my line of work, I have seen weddings that cost well over 100k dollars, and a couple times, by the time I had the pictures ready to be picked up, the couple was already on the outs.

I'm all for marriage- happily married myself- but I don't understand the need people have for a huge wedding. My husband and I had a very small ceremony and only invited our immediate families.

It has somehow become the bride's big day to have a party for herself and has very little to do w/ love. I understand celebrating your love. I don't understand the need for several thousand dollars worth of flowers, a ten foot tall cake, a 10 thousand dollar dress, etc. Save that money- buy a house- do something to give yourselves a head start as a family- don't start out your marriage fighting about money.

If you're in love, get married.. If you want a parade, have a parad

Today at school we could pick where we wanted to sit and I came late so I sat next to my friend and this guy that I am not sure if I like. We were watching the show Friends and when they said a funny line, he nudged me with his elbow and said do you know what they are talking about? Also, when he said something I turned to look at him then right when Joey on the show said thats how its.... Then the guy I like said Done to me and smiled. Also, after I had to go to the office to get something. When I came back he was like oh your back. So do you think he likes me?

he always takes bus to work but most of the time when he misses the bus I have to drop him off. This morning he woke up and took shower. He takes 15-20 mins in shower. I knocked on a door and said to him to not to be late( because it happened so many times when he takes morning shower he always gets late). I made him tea and lunch. then he was looking for a sweater. I said wear the clean one which is hanging he started staring at it. I said fine wear whatever you want. Then he got all mad and started saying that ' you are disrespectful and now don't talk to me like that. Don't tell me what to do?"
My question is have I said anything wrong here. He tells me what to do or what not to do. I never took offense. He loves his work so there is no problem at work. My B-day is this Sunday and this is my first after marriage. But I feel that it is not going to be great.
Back to point Did I said anything disrespectful. I told what happened this morning. He didn;t even kiss me. It has never....

Anytime I talk to my husband about an issue, he'll turn the TV on, or start doing other things. He won't look at me nor make any eye contact. He just sits there and pays attention to whatever else is around him. Then he says I never stop talking and all I do is nag. I try to communicate with him calmly but he just doesn't listen. I've turned the tv off, found "better" times to talk, but it almost seems impossible. He seems like he doesn't care that it upsets me. I am 3 months pregnant and I want to make this work, but it's making me crazy. Why won't he talk or listen?? What can we do to gain better communication?

I am just curious, because I've been living with my boyfriend for almost 7 years and we have 2 biological kids together (I have one from a previous relationship), and we are happy, but everyone (family and friends) keeps saying we are "shacking up" and living together without the "benefits of marriage". Someone please explain to me what these benefits are because I would hate to miss out on something.
We pay fewer taxes being unmarried.( no marrige penalty)
We are extended more credit to buy properties etc. because our FICOs are taken into account seperately.
If we were to split up we will not be held accountable for the other person's debts.
When we get older we will get more money from social security.(no ss marriage penalty)

Frankly it seems to me that marriage is a bad financial move. I know that it isn't just about that, but why can't people love each other and be together without being married?

I am the president of an independent rap music label that I founded less than a year ago known as Super King Records. To help promote the lable I legally changed my name to Super King and my 16 year old son, who is going to be the star rapper for my label legally changed his name from Ralph Finkelstein to Cash-Money God. When I first founded my label, my wife agreed that she and our daughter who is 14 would be back-up dancers when we shot our videos. We were all set to shoot our first video yesterday when my wife informed me that neither she nor our daughter would be dancing on the video! This left me in a bind because I need back up dancers to shoot a rap video. I went to the local high school to try to recruit some other dancers but I was told by the principal that this was illegal. I don't know where to turn now! How could my wife have so blatently betrayed me like this after she gave me her word! I think our marriage might be in jeopardy over this! What should I do!? Please help.

I have not been married long but feel i dont love my husband any more. He is a good person but i feel he wants a house keeper rather than a wife. He does nothing in the house, is totally oblivious to anything and i am really starting to resent him. He makes excuses and lies about working late so that he can avoid coming home first and starting tea. He walks in while i am making tea, doing washing, feeding dog and hoovering to ask if there is anything needing doing. why cant he see for himself what needs doing. i feel like his mother rather than equal partner. He is 45 but cant use a washing machine! He has never washed the bath, fridge, dusted, washed floor etc etc. i feel he is so lazy and i am loosing all respect for him. trying to talk to him is pointless and i have given up trying - he just withdraws and goes in a huff and wont talk for days on end. we never argue there is just no communication. He wont try to resolve things it is always down to me. what do i do?

Ok, this is more like a poll ... there are two scenarios, you have to say whether or not you would have enjoyed it with your partner.

1 - Wife snuggles up to husband who is watching TV. Husband playfully lightly tickles wife at first. Finds out she is severely ticklish. So in a very playul mood, he starts tickle her. She laughs her head off. Both of them have a good. Somewhere in the middle they both get excited and it eventually leads to good old romance.

2 - Wife and husband both are playing football together (as in soccer). Or any other physically demanding sport.

What do you think? Crappy? Sentimental? Sweet?

I have been thinking about sex before marriage and different beliefs on why or why not.

One of my close friends strongly believes in living with someone before marriage and shall we say, "test driving before buying?" What happens if you get married without test driving your "vehicle" and it totally sucks? Then you are stuck with this person forever...however, if you "test drive" it, you know exactly how the sex will be and you know what you are in for...

Is this person wrong in their beliefs? I think its a valid concern...I wouldn't want to be with someone forever who sucked in bed.... would you?

There's this girl I know that kept looking at me, smiling, and talking to me. Everything was going good when a few days ago, out of the blue I punched her in the face repeatedly and broke her nose. I also yelled out that she was a ****-faced cheating whore.

Neither one of us want to go back. My ex is being really nice to my husband and invites him in when we drop our child off at his house, I know him well enough to know this is to show me what a nice guy he is (he has told me he is in love with me again). His ex wife tries to break us up with court dates claiming things that are lies and other stuff. We both have kids from previous marriages.....so no contact is out of the question. It works on both of us from time to time to know that these people are trying to get with the other. It is really a strange situation and one that I never dreamed that I would be involved in....however can a marriage take all of this interferance....we try to only have contact via email and voice mail with them but there are those times when more communication is required. We try to stick to the topic of the kids...however they always try to worm their ways in. We are being hit from both sides and it causes tention. What to do?

I love her very much and I've never suspected for a second that she would ever cheat on me. She is still friends with her ex but she never wants us to meet (that's understandable) and she also doesn't want me to be around any of her friends (sometimes we can't hang out because she is with people I can't see). I told her that it bothers me that she talks about him all the time and she said that he is part of her life (they've known and dated each other for years and used to live together) and she doesn't feel that she should have to edit herself. I don't want to lose her but I don't know how much more I can take.
