My ex (he's 27 & I'm 25) ended things a month & a half ago after 1 1/2 years together. He said he didn't see us being together forever. We were talking ever other day for the first month of our break up but we never got back together. He would still call me his baby, he didn't want me to date anyone else, we even went on a date one time. Eventually it became to hard for me so I told him we should not talk anymore. He was sad & told me he didn't want me to go away but he understood. We didn't talk for 1 week. He txted me today and said hi so I said hi back. Then he asked how i was so I e-mailed him telling him how I was feeling. He wrote back saying that he misses me, wants to see me but doesn't think we should see each other because he doesn't think it will work out in the end...by the way he owns a house but still lives at home with mom/dad & he still goes on spring break..Is he just afraid to commit? Will he realize one day he loves me? Sould I just give him time/space?

I was just wondering... Ok i have been messing around with a married man for about a week now and today I got a phone call that I didnt know the number and I answered and said hello twice and a woman came over the phone and said "You're in trouble" and then hung up. I called the number back and nobody will answer even on a different phone that I use. So then I text messaged the guy and asked him if she called me and I told him the number and he said he had no idea wat that # is and that she asked him this morning if he had been talking to someone on the side. I dont know if it was her who called me or not cuz thats not their home # either. I told him I wanted to just forget it and not talk to him anymore but he said yea we are in code red right now but just play it cool for a little while to make it seem like there is nothing wrong. I know I cant do it anymore even though I love him so much. Do you think it was her who called me? Do u think she might leave him if she knows?

ok well i had the best life an hour ago and now its the worste! i was having a big sleep over with all my friends last night and we were all hanging out today but i came home to take a shower and i was going to go back with them but now im not becase my parents said i cant get the iphone for christmass cause they dont think im responcible! instead there offering me a stupid mac computer! Well i had 20 things on my christmass list so far and the thing i wanted most was the iphone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont want another computer i want the iphone!!!! i already have 4 computers to share with my sister so why should i want that! I took my christmass list and ripped it up and told my parents if i cant get the iphone i dont want anything.. i shouldnt have done that but i thought this was gonna be the best chrstmass ever but now its gonna be the worste ever! and im not going back out with my friends and there begging me all day just to hang out with them but dont they see im angry!!!!!!!!????!!!!

Lately every time I talk to this girl that i like and who likes me I'm at a loss of words. And it happens on the phone and sometimes when were out. There are always long pauses and awkward silences. Its hard for me me to think about topics that sparks her attention. Is there something i might be doing wrong that makes this happens? If so what can I do about it and also give me some conversation tips that might help me out?

So since 10/31 I have not given her nothing while the process of child support goes through the Agency. Now we have to take a paternity test, because my name was not on the birth certificate and we were never married. I mean I am 50/50 that the boy is mine, I took care of him before, because I felt the moral part. I did have sex with his mother unprotective, so if could be mines. Now the process has not even gotten to the paternity test part and now christmas is coming, Now my parents advised me to give her nothing until the results of the paternity test comes. Now I am not going to lie, the relationship between the mother and me is very bad, especially since I got engaged. But something in me is having this gulity feeling that I should be given her something, but also I would be pissed if I am taking care of a kid that is not mine. So what should I do? The boy is 1 years old

My husband and I have only been married for 3 months and things are already spiraling downhill. His daughter came to live with us not even a month after we got married. Her mother who lives 12 hours away dropped her off one day and said she wanted us to keep her for a while. Well we haven't seen her in a year and a half and her bad behavior has become such a stress in our new marriage. all we do now is fight about stupid things when really we're stressed about her. he was laid off his job a week before our wedding which stressed us financially and left me to be the only provider. We already have a younger son who's picking up on her bad behavior. My husband critizes me for not having a better bond with her, but I critisize him for not allowing me to more time to 'accept her as my daughter'. i'm just fed up and stressed out at this point and i'm seriously ready to give up. i just can't believe we're letting a child ruin our marriage.

All my friends say I am pretty. But his one friend behind my back told my friends I am the ugliest girl in the world. No guy at my school likes me. All of my friends have a crusher. I look in the mirorr and think " Am I ugly or pretty"? I need advice, no one likes me then I like this guy and in the whole school he is the only one who doesn't know who I am. So should I try to be prettier or be myself and wait for someone to like me?

I was always raised to believe that the man should be the bread-winner in the household, and that it's okay for the woman to work, but not make as much money as the man.

I no longer agree with that. To me that still seems sexist. What I believe now is that it shouldn't matter who the bread-winner is, as long as the man has a job and is contributing to the welfare of the family. No matter what job he has, he should have one, unless he's on disability or has something wrong that makes him unable to work. What do you think?

My Dad's parents are divorced (grandpa's house is a 2 hr drive there and 2 hr drive back and my grandmothers is 1 hr there and 1 hr back), my MIL and FIL are divorced. My MIL family is divorced as well. My FIL does not get along with his family, so that is one stop at my FIL and at my FIL family (1 hr there 1 hr back). Oh and I never have time to see my Mom's side of the family. That is at lease 5-6 stops a holiday! And a lot of them live 1-2 hours away! I have thought about having holiday gets togethers. But my Dad has made some comments about spending it with my husbands family...my Dad's family is weird like that. How do I see everyone?! What should I do and how do I not making anyone angry!? P.S. It is overly exhausting.

ok, tuesday morning i had a dream and i was cryin in it and i saw nothing but black, and i was kicking, but i woke up the book was kicked off the bed and my face was wet from tears, and normally seeing alot of black like dat means death, so at 12am on wedsnesday morning we got a call that 30 minutes before my cousin fell in her home and they took her to the hospital and she was pronouced dead, is thos a good thing to dream about, is it my fault , am i weird because i normally see these type things, i dont know what to do?

Hi a bit of advice, my husbands grandad passed away yesteday and his funeral is on Monday, the thing is my nana recently passed away too and I was ok with it (well not ok but you know what I mean) and then as soon as ''Youll never walk alone'' started playing I started sobbing my heart out and seeing everone else upset and crying which is obviously what happens. but this same song is being played at his grandad funeral how do I hold it together, as I dont neccesealy cry quietly and end up a quivering wreck, How can I be strong, I cry if any body crys

my two best friends and i had a massive argument on friday but yesterday we made up !

it was all because i felt left out because of lots of little thiings like them going together always in p.e and me left out and sleeping at others houses and not inviting me!
i told them i how i felt and they finally forgave me ...

this week i just looked on one of theirs bebo and the other friend left a comment sayin can i go with you for p.e and do you want to sleep on friday!

I'm not friends with my husband's ex, but I have nothing against her, either.

He had a life with her- together, they made a beautiful little girl- and it ended (not even sure why- but there must have been a reason).

I read a lot of questions on here from step-parents concerned about the amount of contact between their partner and the ex. It's obvious that most of the time it's all fueled by jealousy..

Do people not feel it's important for a child to see their parents cooperate and have a decent relationship-even if it's not romantic? I encourage my husband to keep contact with his ex. There have been times he's taken his daughter and ex out to dinner without me- Did I mind? No. My daughters that I have with my husband get time with both their parents daily. Why should this little girl not get time with both of hers and no "extras?"

I feel it's important- I wouldn't have entered a relationship with an already father if I didn't expect him to be a GOOD father..

So what gives?
