All my friends say I am pretty. But his one friend behind my back told my friends I am the ugliest girl in the world. No guy at my school likes me. All of my friends have a crusher. I look in the mirorr and think " Am I ugly or pretty"? I need advice, no one likes me then I like this guy and in the whole school he is the only one who doesn't know who I am. So should I try to be prettier or be myself and wait for someone to like me?

my advice is forget about what people say about you, your opinion is what matters. I think that the only ugly people in this world are the ones who are ugly inside and make themselves look ugly. Everyone is special in his/her own way and that's what matters. most guys like girls who are honest and have self-respect, even though they don't show it. good luck

It sounds like the "one friend" is just trying to get your attention or just trying to be a jerk, You gotta be stronger than that. If a dozen people say you are pretty you let one nay-sayer make you wonder? Come on! Now if guys don't like you they just might not be the guys for you or perhaps they are blind or perhaps - just maybe - you need to feel a litle more secure to let your beauty show through? How is it that everyone knows you? That you are a sweetheart or a drama queen? That you are nice or mean? That could explain things - there is beauty inside and outside. You do not need to look prettier, but you should try to be more confident while being sure you are not being mean or tempermental or vain around others. Stop wondering how you look, you look fine, I'm sure of it. Just try to be nice and try to be friendly and see what happens then - don't fake it, feel it.

Honestly, even if you are ugly that girl that you consider your friend IS NOT YOUR FRIEND! Welcome to the real world honey. Everyone says stuff behind your back that they won't say to your face. You can do your hair, nails, and make-up, but at the end of the day you will still be you, so you can do whatever you want to your style. Whoever you end up with will love you no matter what you look like.

just know that you are NOT the ugliest person in the world.
that girl is probably jeolous of you. people do that to make themselves look better.....and it never works.
don't doubt yourself. if you think you're pretty, then everyone else would too.
looks don't matter anyway. and a guy probably does like you. remember that guys are shy and don't admit things like that.you may have a secret admirer out there somewhere and not know.
you have to love yourself. don't care what others think of you. forget them. they're not going to be a part of your life 10 years later. you're most likely the most beutiful person on the inside. that's all that matters.

Always try and be your self.. cause if you try to be someone your not and met someone.. your not gonna have any fun cause your gonna be trying so hard to be this other person.. I'm sure you not ugly... Things will happen in due time i promise.. In high school i never had a boyfriend until my senior year and he was a jerk.. Now im 21 met the man of my dreams and got married in October.. things will come in time.. dont try and rush into everything so quick... It will i work out as long as you be yourself.. Good Luck

Don't listen to anything this friend has said behind your back
everyone is pretty in so many differnet ways
dont lower yourself trying to look like a slut (loadsa make-up tissues in bra) just wait for the right person or make a move to a guy you like
you are who you are everyone is different we all must accept that

Some guys do it because they trying to impress someone else or they like you and getting your attention is to tease you. Som guys know what they are doing and they do it just to do it. Now to get the guy yes dressing better may help not slutty but clothes that complements to your shape not to tight. Makeup helps but make it to enhance what you have don't put crazy colors on just to go to school that's for clubs, Confidence is sexy so just act like you do when you are around him yes it is like lying but in time that lie will help you more than anything.

Wait for someone to like you, if you try to bend over backwards for others, than you will eventually not be happy with yourself, you need to do whats makes you feel good and happy, allot of immature guys will call a girl or woman ugly just because she doesn't look like a street hooker.

Believe it or not it's whats on the inside and who you are and your personality and charactor that matter ...
Some famous people and models are just plain ugly cuz of who they are. Some of the most beautiful people in the world are considered ugly or plain janes....
Look inside yourself and ask "am I a beautiful person on the inside?"
