Just wanna see your opinion on this. Which do you think is more compatible?

True. I believe similar interests are important. But what about character? For example, a hot-headed person would be better off with someone more mild tempered dont you think? It would get disastrous if both were hot tempered. Or if one talks alot, it would be better if the significant other is more of a listener?

a mix of both. you need someone who is similar to you so you can have common interests, likes, etc. but at the same time its good to have qualities that are oppisite of each other, that way there is a balance.

Someone just like me, Im too opinionated to have someone completely opposite, the fact they disagree about everything would drive me insane. I just also think it makes marriage and having kids a lot easier if you have the same views on a lot of life things. Even my best friend is almost the same as me. I don't mind people that are opposite than me, I just wouldnt want to live with them everyday of my life like you would do a life partner.

In appearance my husband and I are complete opposites. He has black hair, brown eyes, olive skin that tans if the lights are on. I have auburn hair, blue eyes and burn if the lights are on.
Personality, we are virtually identical with a few (major) differences. We disagree on the same 3 issues and have for years and we just compromise to get through them. We enjoy the same sports and entertainment but have different musical tastes.
We are alike in the ways that count.
My mother always tells me that she doesn't understand how with having 6 sons that it ended up being her daughter that is identical to my Dad and now it completely flips her out how much my husband is just like my Dad. They are completely alike, even their coloring.
Who knows, it works for me.

Everybody's different but knowing myself, I want someone opposite. I am the way I am because I have to be, not because I want to be. I don't find many of my own traits attractive, so even though she might not understand me too well, I'd rather have have opposite.

Someone opposite. I don't get along with people who are similar to me because I feel like they are annoying :)

I like a girl who has an opposite complexion and look to me. The reason being that I see my complexion and look every day in the mirror, and it is boring to me.
