After 10 yrs with the same guy (and a baby), I recently found out that he's been cheating on me. At my age I feel weird being a single mother out there. I just don't know what to do or where to go to meet a decent guy...

Last spring, I hooked up with my friend's guy friend, a 35-yr-old prison psychologist with a nice trim body and natural blonde hair. Then I find out today that he is MARRIED with 3 kids and just recently filed for a divorce! =-O Uh-oh! (dumb $lut told me he was single, too) Before today, my friend wasn't aware that I'd hooked up with his psychologist friend. He indirectly blamed me for the divorce!(even though I haven't talked to this psychologist in recent months, and it was just a fun lil' fling I had after dumping some loser) Meanwhile, I tend to think that if he cheated with me so easily, he probably did it before and after...therefore the divorce blame lies more on his fault than mine.

So my question is...what do you think? Do most cheaters cheat more than once? Surely any divorce is probably due to a string of cheatings, or else perhaps they had marital problems prior to me meeting him, right? Just curious.

I really need to be more discrete with guys I meet :D

I think I'm traumatized because I remember when my mom was about to cook chicken and she washed it first...but I got grossed out because it looked like she was bathing a baby in the sink...so now I don't ever like watching meat being prepared....let alone do it myself.

I know I'll eventually have to get over it and stick my hand up a turkey's butt someday...wait <.<

Yes I'm aware we live in different times now but I'm just curious to know how important it is for a guy to marry a woman who can cook....

I hate him.. He doesn't let me or my sister out of the house except for school, and when we're with him or my mom.. I feel left out all the time around my friends, and they stopped inviting me to do stuff because they know the answer anyway. I'm not even allowed to go to birthdays. I'm turning 19 in four months.. What should I do? I had it...really sometimes I think about ending my life because I can't stand it anymore.. Please help, and don't tell me to try to talk with him because I've tried like a million times, but he doesn't care about me or my feelings, and my mom knows he's wrong but she deosn't do anything, she won't even talk to him..

In my school, a boy I just see i the hallways, died of a disease a few days ago. The teachers and counselors told our class today that he died. I never knew him or talked to him. But I was crying, from hearing this and it hurts. Now Im very worried if a loved one (mom, dad, siblings) dies, how much more will it hurt?

I have been at my job for 3 years and two reasons why I have stayed is because 1) I needed a low stress job to pay bills while I found something I like to do (which I have found, but just not successful at it yet) 2) my boss is great (until today). I mean he's still a good person, but I was hurt when we had a meeting with him and I felt somewhat betrayed because he basically told me and another coworker our jobs will be eliminated in Feb 08 after the companies merges and after they use our expertise and he knew about this for a while now & just told us today.

I was planning to go through IVF treatments with this employer and planned on getting pregnant, have baby, then quit within a year. The company covers 60% of IVF treatment up to $10,000 lifetime.

But I feel like if I stay, then any day now my employer will give me the axe because that's how these employers are. They just let you go whenever and I don't want to stick around until they do that, but I would like the healthcare.

In general do you think men are more blunt when they talk meaning they speak their mind & don't hold back? I need help with a research project and i'm trying to come up with some ideas on how men and women communicate differently. Any suggestions let me know and it would be great if you gave your opinion about my question. The more answers i get the better.

so me and this guy like eachother but right now I don't really want a boy friend for a lot of reasons
I'll hang out with him and all and we'll hug but other than that I don't want anything else like the kissing and the title or the complete comitment. he knows this and I don't know if he's ok with it. he says he is but he could just be being nice..
do you think this is really mean of me?
I do have good reasons why I don't want to date right now
which I've kinda explained some of them to him
any ideas?

Two months ago my girlfriend for two years and I decided to take a break with the idea of getting back (maybe living) together. We made it a real break, so we didnt promise not to see anyone. I went out often and enjoyed fliting, and kissed two girls but was honest to i loved someone else. we only talked by phone, but often. After 4 weeks we finally got back together, and its been fireworks. Last week i finaly asked her if she had slept with anyone else. she told me during the last week before we got back together she was seeing someone from her work, who I always knew wanted her. she admits she had an intense physical thing- she was with him daily for a week and 3 or 4 times a day they were intimate. I know she had the right and I am just happy to have her back, but I feel some jealousy and she even admits she would too. In a way I benefit too, from her passion and the different ways she wants me to make love to me after the break, but wonder if it was him or me in her head. any idea

I was in a long term marriage and have been divorced for 4 years. I have been happily single for the past 4 years and have a wonderful boyfriend who wants to marry me. He tells me all the time how crazy in love with me he is, how I turn him on like no other, how gorgeous and sexy I am...he takes me out to wonderful places, loves to be with me. He is the perfect boyfriend. My problem is the whole marriage concept and the traditional roles that come into play. I don't want that again.
I guess I'm curious as to what others here on answers feel about marriage. I do believe whole heartedly in monogomy though.

I always see girls going for guys that lie to them. You know, the guys that fake interest in everything they have to say. Then I see the same girls blow off honest guys (not NICE GUYS, nice guys are trying to use that to get laid, I'm talking about honest guys who aren't just about sex) or simply stare at them from a distance. I've been told honest guys are intimidating. Seriously what's up with this.

I'm 22 so a lot of my friends are getting married and I'm sad to admit that the idea doesn't appeal to me at all. I think its because I see so many men (I KNOW, SOME women too) in marriages who just act like immature babies who can't be bothered to help or be involved. I'm only attracted to men, physically, so there's no problem there, it just seems like a crap shoot for women.

It probably doesn't help that my Dad is the WORST and he is a complete baby. He and my mom have been married for more than 37 years and she has always worked full time and busted a** taking care of us and our home. He never helps and whines about everything. Problem is, he isn't the only example I know of...he's the rule and not the exception from my observation.

So guys, gals...is there any hope for a better outcome for me or should I go with my instincts and stay single? What has your experience been?
