I drew a portrait of an ex several mths ago and was never able to give it to her , we broke up 2 mths ago her feelings were hurt and we currently aren't speaking , she's now seeing a new guy , I thought I should wait a few months and send it as an olive branch ..no expectations.. no desire for a reply , we were great friends and split only because of my illness , which I thought would be to hard for her children to see me go through.. any ideas ?

My marriage seems completely crazy anymore. Everyone in my family (especially my mom who lived w/ us for 3 mths. & witnessed my marriage 1sthand) says I need to LEAVE. Meanwhile, all my husband's friends & family think that I don't contribute at all to the marriage. I guess that's b/c for the past mth., I've refused to pay household bills (leaving them for him to handle) & opted to pay off some of our debts instead so we can move forward one day (ie - buying a house, having a family, etc.) and I guess he's told them I'm leaving it all to him to handle. Furthermore, this guy isn't even allowed a DL until after he has a hearing - which they won't give him until the year 2010 b/c he has 14 "failure to appears" and 5 "driving while license revoked" in 3 different counties. Stuck as a taxi, I'm ready to call it quits (especially since all it seems he does n-e more is belittle me). But his family says this is the time I really need to step up to the plate. I'm just at a loss of what to do.

Ok, I am a good-looking woman and I don't mean to brag about that. I work in DC and I like to smoke a cigarette every morning outside the train station. Each time, I have at least two or three men ask me for a cigarette or a lighter! I don't understand it. Do they mean to flirt? or simply there is cigarette shortage at DC?!!! Me and my bf have been together for nearly a year and a half. recently i discovered that my bf really has NO FREAKIN...CLUE.. why i am so angry...HE made a commitment and said he was gonna give a hundred percent in the relationship, lied about a kid he had from another relationship8 yrs ago- i been 4 as friends- then after i call him on his BS he says.."oh i got to pay a storage bill, i got other things to worry about..my kid with the other ***** is not important and i can't help you with bills" he makes no apologies for letting me down and his crap...after i asked him 8 months ago,"are you sure this is what you want and a commitment ot me is a very big thing!" i can't help now feeling so pissed off and resentful and i just want him to dissapear. it wouldn't be so bad if i didn't have my sisters kid here who is 2 - who does like him but never calls him Dad though. i just hate that when a man says one thing then acts like he can't be bothered to follow through!! and he always has to ask his Mom for permission.. your 29 yrs old, makes 100$ a week..

I really like this guy, I'm semi-sure he likes me. I want to know if the following is considered a date, in your eyes, please.
- I invited him to the movies this Friday, as a sort of bday 'party' (mine).
- I'm paying for the tickets.
- It's just us going, no other friends of mine.
- We've been friends for 3 years, not best friends, just friends.
- I'm turning 17, he is 17, and we're both in 11th grade.

My husband works away from home during the week and sometimes on saturday our marriage is very strong we are still very passionate and we both are still very in love with one other but it hurts our family for him to be away I very seldom sleep and i'm always thinking of him and our 4 year old daughter is always acting out and I feel like its because she wants her daddy she wakes up in the middle of the night crying for him and always thinks that he is never coming back and we are constantly having to explain that daddy will always come back home to us but will this affect her permantly .......and then he makes very good money and i dont want him to lose his job because of our selfishness but then again money isn't everything and I rather have him home with me every night than to be weathly please some one help me I can't bare another night alone I miss the missing piece from our family! PLEASE Help me!!!

Basically things went horrible between us. I was married before her and really understand what i did wrong in that marriage and what my 1st wife did wrong. we were both at fault. second marriage my wife had so many trust and insecurity issues from childhood that she was a mess. Last fight before she left was horrible. she left and i didn't care at the time. lawyers involved. the whole 9 yards. now that its been 6 months i forgive her for what she's done. i know we can't be together but i need closure. I need to tell her that I'll always love her but we can't be together. everybody says not to do it but i do need some closure. i don't want to get back together with her but i want to do this. is it a bad idea? we haven't spoken in a long time and have said some nasty things about each other in legal documents. what do you think?

There is the girl in my class that i have liked since we were in grade 6 i swear to god shes the perfect girl, were both 13 and we have alot in common and were really good freinds but i really wanna be more. I know it doesnt sound right to say that i love her when im only 13 but i do. She says she doesnt like me but i need to make sure because shes gave me alot of signs but im soo confused shes even asked things like "If we were goin out would that change our friendship at school?" and why i liked her so much and when i told her it was because she's "smart,funny,beautiful,a nice person,and she had a great personality" she said she was absoluty speechless. Shes a great artist too, everytime i say her artwork is amazing she says "Thanks!" in a really cute voice that she never actually does. Everytime she can stay up late which is always on the weekends were always talking on msn till atleast 2 am sometimes she even goes out of her way to stay up later. I seriously need help.

Except for the fact she is a pack a day cigarette smoker, she is perfect in every other way. I am a nonsmoker, but allowed her to smoke. But, I just decided I was tired of her smoking, and the fact that she always seemed to have to have a cigarette, was always lighting one, and we always had to make sure she had enough when we went out. It was like an obsession with her. Now I am having second thoughts. Did I do the right thing? What should I do now?

Friday my boyfriend of nearly 3 years attempted to hang himself due to is wandering sister he was unsuccessful. i had him admitted to a physciatric hospital for 3 days for evaluation and to get him help n then i sought my own. I have been told by 5 people that its best to walk away now for his saftey. i love him and i cant make myself abandone him, i need him n he needs me.... but if it comes to his life i can deal. Will me leaving be helpful in the long run???

Many of you helped me one month ago when I asked if there was too much difference between me and this man.
Now we have been together for more than a month and...
Physical attraction is at the top, he's sweet and protective but I have to ask you some things:
1. I don't understand if he really cares or only thinks about sex
2. People ALWAYS look at us when we go out...they seem to wonder why I'm with him (he looks older than his age)
3. Plus, my sister would like to meet him because she knows I'm fine with him but....I'm sure I would feel extremely embarassed if she met him...I'm sure she will tell me she doesn' t like him as he's too old...I'd be ashamed....

What can I do?

Let me start by saying this is my wifes first real friend in a long long time (3 plus years). We had problems lately and she turned to this friend, another girl. Anyway, since we got back together it still seems that she wants to hang out with this friend all the time. This friend went home for a week, and the very day that she gets back my wife and her are hanging out. Thats fine, but im afraid she will continue to want to hang out with this friend a lot. This friend's in a relationship too, but not in same spot as me and my wife. We have a house and a family. If i let her choose she would want to see this friend everyday, but with jobs and such this isnt possible. I still believe that she thinks it would be ok to most likely see this friend every other day. some weeks, it would be 3 days a week, others 4 days a week. My question is when do i step in and say this is too much, we have a family, and you need to be home more, more attention to us. What is excessive, too much, opinions?

We broke up a couple months ago and I only got back together with him because then he said that after 5 years he is willing to get married and have children. He never gave me a ring and about a month after we got back together then we fought because he still hadnt gotten me the ring and I felt like he was just saying that. And he said what do you need it right away right now then lets go. And he yelled that so I didnt want it then. We have plans to go to Las Vegas and get married in Feburary or March after we both get our taxes back, but what do I do unitl then? Just say nothing about it, or about him not getting the ring? Do I stop making the plans to go if I dont even have the ring saying that its for sure? I dont want to hound him for it I really do just want him to purpose because he really is in love and wants me as his wife and not because I keep yelling about it. So should I just shut-up and wait even though I keep getting mad and hurt about it?

My boyfriend and I met online almost two years ago through a chat room. We've gotten very serious in the past year and are living together. I've recently caught him chatting in far away state rooms, pretending to be someone else (black, tall, sexy, with a big d*ck) while he's not black or tall. He's sending these women fake pics and asking for their naked pics in return. When I busted him he said it's because he wants the pics and he uses the far away rooms because there's no chance of him hookin up with a chick that's far away. After that it escalated to text messaging with one girl and the **** hit the fan. He said he'd stop, well guess what....he didn't. He's just doing other forms of it. Dirty myspace surveys sent PRIVATELY and he still occasionally chats. I love him and I know 100% he's not physically cheating on me, but I can't seem to accept the fact that he's even talking dirty to these other women. I filed for divorce last week. Last night I was out with a friend and my husband totaled our one and only car in a car accident. The car was in his name and his dad cosigned. I am only on the insurance though my husband doesn't worked I have made all the payments on the car. Anyways now I have no car. My question is can I get a new car in my name now that the papers have been filed for divorce or should i just bum rides from people till the divorce is final? I can afford a new car I mean I paid everything for the car it just wasn't in my name.
