I drew a portrait of an ex several mths ago and was never able to give it to her , we broke up 2 mths ago her feelings were hurt and we currently aren't speaking , she's now seeing a new guy , I thought I should wait a few months and send it as an olive branch ..no expectations.. no desire for a reply , we were great friends and split only because of my illness , which I thought would be to hard for her children to see me go through.. any ideas ?

Sending it to her would be a good idea, who knows maybe you can still keep the friendship going. I am sure even if you aren't on speaking terms she will truly appreciate it. good luck

A similar thing happened to me, and around the same time that it happened to you. I think that you should send the portrait you drew of her and have a letter attached to if saying how you feel about her. You might not get a responce back but at least she knows how you still feel about her.

i think you should send it but express the olive branch idea. If thats really the reason you want to send it then I wouldn't wait.

It sounds like she is really hurt and you may have pushed her away for good to be honest.
I would send it and tell her you really miss her as a friend and would like to keep in touch. Just to see what happens if she doesn't respond you know where you stand.
Best wishes.
