i am a single parent in need of some christmas for my children but i dont have the funds to do it .everything in my area is closed for sighning up and my children are to oldfor the items.

My dad thinks that he can read people's minds and that he knows what you'll do and say. Like just now, he was criticizing me and my sister (mostly my sister) and i'm on computer trying to do my essay. Hearing this argument, I turned my head to see what the hell's going on. And he starts saying how i feel about this and how i'm going to defend myself and my sister...what a retard.

what should i do? he's going to drive me nuts soon with all the guessing "what people will do" and guessing "how he/she is feeling about this". and the funny thing is, 95% of the time, he's wrong (actually 99.9%).

I'm a sophomore in high school, and I've never had a boyfriend. No guy has ever asked me out, and as far as I know, I've only had 1 or 2 people even like me.
I know I'm not ugly, as I frequently get told that I'm a pretty attractive person (I'm 5"7, skinny, decent features, freakishly long legs, decent proportions, I've been asked to model before) but people think I'm weird that I've never had a boyfriend... Is this a common mindset? Am I just weird?

I'm 15 (16 in Jan). Currently I live with my mom and aunt (have since I was 5 or 6). My aunt is mentally unstable (she's been diagnosed) and she used to hit me (she won't now because I'm bigger than her) and she constantly insults me. My mom is disabled and needs surgeries (she's always in pain) so there's not much there. Even tiny things can get to her. I have no friends. I'm not allowed to make friends with the neighbor kids because my aunt believes they constantly spy on us. My dad's a drug addict. I have almost no other family and they're old and I don't know them very well. The other part of my family doesn't speak to me. The last grade I completed in school was sixth grade. I barely leave the house. I have a problem with cutting. I asked my mom for help but she did nothing. I don't want to live with my family anymore. What can I do?

I am 21 years old and me and a 35 year old married man have been seeing each other lately. Dont even start mad dogging me right now .. we BOTH know its wrong but we are so attracted to each other its unbelievable!! So please give me advice instead of telling me how horrible I am b/c I am finding that out right now myself. I know I could get hurt and I am preparing for that and I will learn the hard way. Anyway... yesterday we met up and talked and kinda kissed and did first base kind of things but today I ended up giving him a *BJ* ..it was both good for both of us and now we want the real thing. Now.. I know I will get hurt and I feel so bad and like a hoe and all i can think about is him going home to his wife... and I have cried and have been REALLLY thinking this over seriously. But the horrible part is I feel like I love him and I cant help those feelings. I dont know what to do... I NEED SOME REAL GOOD ADVICE to take me out of this situation PLEASE!!!!!

I'm a professional photographer. I make a decent income. I'm also married and have 2 kids. I am attending college right now to get another degree in hopes that some day I can open and maintain my own studio and work for myself.

An answerer to my last question informed me that I have my priorities messed up and I'm selfish for wanting to go to college on top of my family and work obligations.

I was just interested in finding out how many other people would agree?

My parents have been divorced since I was eight (so for seven years), and now I spend every other week with my mom, and every other week with my dad. And at first, they didn't really argue. But now... it seems like that's all they ever do. And somehow, my name always seems to weasel it's way into the fight. I needed to get braces, and they faught over what was going to happen. Two years when I started high school, they faught over what school I was going to. My dad started working late, they faught over how I was going to get over to my mom's house when it was my week with her. Whenever holidays come, they fight over who I'll be staying with. The list is just ongoing, really. And now that Christmas and Thanksgiving and my 16th b-day are comming .... I don't know how they're gonna be...... and I just want to know..... did I do something that makes them fight so much? I know, I'm old enough to know that it's not my fault they split up... but is it my fault they're fighting?????

I came home from work about 30 min early and my mom and dad were naked in the bedroom having sex.. it was not my fault that i saw this because i told my mom im comming home early and thedoor was wide open. I dated an older married man for three years off and on. I am 32 and he is 50. After I realized that the divorce was not going to happen I ended our relationship. Then he became friends with my mother all of a sudden. My mother hated him initially because she knew we were seeing each other and he was her age but she would put her feelings aside because I am an adult. She would just turn her nose up when she seen him as if he were a child molester. Now I haven't spoken to my mother in 2 months because the man I slept with for three years is now banging my mother and he is always at her house. This ordeal has drove my little brother away, he lives with me now becuase he can't stand to hear the sounds of love making knowing who it is that's having relations with his mother. I think it is sick and I have lost all respect for my mother. My kids (her grandkids) are dissapointed because they know too. Oh and yes if you are wondering he is still very married.

Summer 2007 my friends girlfriend had 3 of her friends come here from russia one of them i really liked and started spending alot of time with her. she had told me she was going to go back to russia and that she has a boyfriend their which she has been dating for 3 years. Now the summer went by extremly quick like always and she was leaving me and her became very good friends. We were perfect or so i thought. I have not had the easiet of a life and it took me so long to give him my heart. Me and my boydriend agreed on that we weren't going to exchange gifts this Christmas.
I really want to get him something, but, what If I do, and he didn't get anything for me, and feels bad?

I started the first im chat at work but all others after that, he has started, whenever I go to break, he will appear, in one particular im, he made a comment to my statement. . . ."stop trying to make me fall in love with you." I didn't respond because I was shocked. After that last sentence, he responded w/just kidding. But I don't think he was. We have so much in common, never gone out but we have had a lot of conversation. I would love to go out with him but I have a boyfriend of seven years and he has a girlfriend of probably about the same. Not sure if there is something going on there or not so I figured I would ask for someone else's opinion.

he only really talks to his best friend. We were at a party and he was next to me and it was really late. We talk a little and he let me put my head on his arm. I am also pretty sure he readjusted his arm so my head would fit more comfortablely in the nook of his arm.

Is there a chance he likes me?
